Summary of Role:
The Logistics team at GF is currently seeking a professional to support the teams within the different warehouse areas and on-site Operations. The candidate’s core responsibilities are to be able to work in a warehouse and cleanroom environment efficiently and safely in order to package and ship customer orders so to meet the company’s goals. This role supports a 24/7 manufacturing environment and requires working assigned shifts, which may include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules, based on operational needs.
Depending on business needs and project assignments, this role may require the ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance.
Essential responsibilities (Employees must be able to perform these essential functions, with or without an accommodation):
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspection, warehousing, equipment, supplies, and mail.
- Prepare documentation and enter data into system including Warehouse Management software.
- Handle high value equipment, materials, and hazardous materials in an industrial environment.
- Count, weigh, and measure incoming or outgoing materials to compare and identify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records of data.
- Examine incoming shipments for damage or shortages and correspond with the shipper to rectify; complete paperwork or forms required for documentation.
- Determine method of shipment optimizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Prepare materials for shipping by weighing, packaging, labeling, and preparing necessary shipping documentation, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and commercial invoices.
- Coordinate pick-up and delivery of material with service providers.
- Ensure documentation is compliant in collaboration with logistics and trade specialists.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move stock or reorganize storage.
- Fill orders and issue materials, tools, and supplies per request; document transactions appropriately.
- Physically load and unload transported equipment.
- Order, purchase and recommend additions or deletions to standard stock items within established procedures and limits.
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Utilize computerized or automated systems to accomplish tasks.
- Perform daily inspections of material handling equipment.
- Perform work within standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
- Prioritize work assignments based upon service commitment to customers and business needs.
- Be audit ready.
Required Skills
- Basic reading, writing and counting comprehension skills
- Basic computer navigation skills - (i.e.Windows, Microsoft Office, Oracle, X-Site, Outlook)

- Must be trained in multiple areas.
- Occasionally required to work in a clean room environment. Must be comfortable wearing a clean room suit for an extended period of time. (Depending on work location) 100% of a 12-hour shift (excluding breaks).
Physical Capacity
- Ability to work in a standing position for >85% of a 12-hour shift (excluding breaks)
- Ability to walk on uneven surfaces for >85% of a 12-hour shift
- Ability to lift, pull, and/or carry at least 50 pounds periodically throughout the shift
- Ability to utilize computer (typing, visual screen time) for >85% of a 12-hour shift (excluding breaks)
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor protocol/requirements (Depending on job role)
- Ability to answer the phone professionally
- Able to wear upgraded PPE in accordance with GF safety procedures, including, but not limited to, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hat and safety vest
- Ability to work in a chemical warehouse.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment including elevated heights (wearing harness and fall protection).
- Ability to bend, crouch and reach under racks. 50 to 75% of a 12 hour shift (excluding breaks)
- Ability to work outside (including inclement weather) less than 25% of the shift.

- Ability to count large amounts to maintain stock accuracy.

Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Education – High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluent in the English language written and verbal
- Physical capacity demands – labor
- Able to perform activities such as lifting, bending at the waist, stooping, climbing, reaching and kneeling.
- Valid VT State driver's license
- Able to stand for long periods of time, excluding breaks.
- Operate Company Vehicles (Non-CDL)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a warehouse environment – comfortable around heavy equipment (forklifts, reach truck, etc…)
- Ability to use equipment for packing, wrapping, and crating material
- Familiar with Lean Processes – 6s and Kaizan processes.
- Demonstrate the ability to follow detailed instructions and processes to complete tasks
- Strong team player – works well within a global team
Expected Salary Range
$37,500.00 - $63,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
