EU Third Party Logistics Procurement Specialist, External Fulfilment, EU

AmazonPublished 1 days agoFirst seen 2 hours ago
Are you ready to shape how Amazon partners with third-party logistics (3PL) providers across Europe? As a Procurement Specialist on the 3PL Category Procurement team, you will play a key role in sourcing the services and equipment that keep our fulfillment network running. You will drive sourcing initiatives from initial request through contract negotiation, build commercial relationships with suppliers, and use business intelligence and data analytics to turn operational data into actionable insights.

In this role, you will support Senior Category Managers while managing your own sourcing projects across cross-functional teams. You will negotiate contracts, track supplier performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities, all while collaborating with Operations, Finance, Data Engineering, and other partner teams to execute category strategies that deliver real results for the business.

Key job responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Commercial Management
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives (from RFI to contract award), partnering with cross-functional teams and driving category roadmap decisions with senior leadership
  • Manage commercial relationships with suppliers, with a focus on achieving optimal cost and performance
  • Negotiate costs, contracts, and key commercial terms, ensuring compliance with Amazon standards, policies, and regulations
  • Support supplier performance management
Strategy Deployment & Process Improvement
  • Coordinate with operational teams to deploy and manage the implementation of sourcing strategies
  • Drive innovation in tools and processes to streamline execution and improve sourcing efficiency
Data Analytics & Reporting
  • Design, maintain, and improve dashboards and reporting tools (e.g. QuickSight, Excel models) to track procurement KPIs, supplier performance, and cost evolution
  • Translate operational and commercial data into actionable insights for tender evaluations, contract renewals, and strategic sourcing decisions
  • Partner with Data Engineering and Finance teams to ensure data integrity, automate recurring reports, and reduce manual data handling
  • Support the development of self-service analytics capabilities to enable the broader EF Procurement team to make data-driven decisions independently
A day in the life
You will split your time between collaborative work and focused analysis. On a given day, you might join a sourcing review with Operations stakeholders in the morning, then spend the afternoon building a cost comparison model or preparing a supplier negotiation brief. You will regularly connect with Senior Category Managers for guidance on strategy, while independently managing your own sourcing projects and supplier relationships. Expect a proactive, roadmap-driven rhythm where you gather business needs, shape sourcing strategies, and coordinate with 3PL providers to deliver on time.
