Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage the roadmap, requirements, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery plans for field-support and diagnostic-tool programs.
- Lead program execution across Engineering, Service, Quality, Product Management, Manufacturing, Operations, and external technology partners.
- Ensure new server platforms launch with the diagnostic, telemetry, service-data, troubleshooting, and repair capabilities required for field support.
- Translate serviceability needs and user feedback into clear technical and operational requirements for engineering teams.
- Apply agile project-management practices to coordinate deliverables, resolve issues, and maintain alignment across global stakeholders.
- Establish program governance, track progress, and provide clear reporting on milestones, risks, quality, decisions, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate monthly quality reviews and drive action plans that improve diagnostic effectiveness, service readiness, and field-support outcomes.
- Manage programs throughout their lifecycle, from initial planning and platform development through launch and sustaining operations.
Skills & Experience
Must-have
- More than five years of experience in technical project or program management, preferably supporting server products or data-center infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience managing server development programs, platform launches, or related hardware, firmware, service, or support initiatives.
- Working knowledge of server hardware, firmware, BMC, telemetry, diagnostic tools, log analysis, or related serviceability technologies.
- Experience defining product or program roadmaps, gathering requirements, and managing schedules, dependencies, risks, and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of project-management methodologies, including agile practices and structured program governance.
- PMP certification.
- Strong English communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills for collaboration across global teams.
Good-to-have
- Experience with field-support tools, service automation, guided troubleshooting, predictive diagnostics, or problem-determination workflows.
- Experience working with service, quality, manufacturing, operations, or customer-support organizations.
- Understanding of field service user experience and the needs of service technicians supporting enterprise server platforms.
- Experience managing multi-year programs through development, launch, and sustaining phases.
