Enterprise Account Engineer II, Strategic ISV
AWS Applied AI Solutions (AAIS) is building toward a future where every business innovates with Amazon AI teammates. To get there, we build AI solutions that improve human capabilities and transform entire business functions. We create end-to-end products that surprise and delight out-of-the-box, making complex things easy and hard things possible, with no cloud experience required. We start with customers who embrace the future and build bridges to meet the rest where they are. We pursue ambitious opportunities with conviction, and we are looking for builders who share that mindset.
Are you passionate about helping customers get the most out of cloud technology? As an Enterprise Account Engineer II at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will serve as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers, guiding them through every stage of their cloud journey. From proactive architecture reviews and operational optimization to hands-on support during critical events, you will be at the center of ensuring customers achieve their business goals on AWS.
In this role, you will combine deep technical expertise with strong relationship-building skills to influence how customers design, operate, and scale their cloud environments. You will work across teams to advocate for your customers, recommend best practices, and drive adoption of AWS services — including Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and modern cloud solutions. If you are a self-starter who thrives on solving complex technical challenges while making a real impact on customer outcomes, this is the role for you.
Key job responsibilities
You start your morning reviewing operational health dashboards for your customer accounts, flagging any emerging risks before they become issues. By mid-morning, you are leading an architecture review with a customer's engineering team, recommending changes to improve availability and reduce costs. After lunch, you collaborate with AWS service teams to fast-track a feature request that will unblock a customer's upcoming migration. Later, you prepare a quarterly business review, translating technical insights into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
