You'll be joining the WETS Product Group's Process Critical Hardware team. The Process Critical team is responsible for hardware with the closest proximity to the wafer and the greatest impact on plating performance. Our team partners closely with process engineering, supply chain partners, and customer account teams to deliver best-in-class hardware solutions for our customers.

The team is seeking a highly organized, hands-on individual who enjoys supporting engineering activities, maintaining an efficient laboratory environment, and enabling engineers to execute quickly and effectively.

The impact you’ll make

As an Engineering Technician 3 in the WETS Product Group, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the team's engineering infrastructure. You will own day-to-day management of the dry lab environment, helping ensure equipment, tools, and workspaces are organized, maintained, and available for engineering activities.

You will also provide mechanical drafting support for engineering projects by creating and updating CAD models, drawings, and documentation under the direction of engineers. In addition, you will support engineering execution by coordinating Engineering Requests for Funds (ERFs), managing logistics, and helping engineers obtain the resources required to successfully execute projects. Your contributions will improve team productivity, laboratory efficiency, and overall engineering execution across the Process Critical Hardware organization.

What you’ll do

• Own and manage the dry lab environment, including workspace organization, tool control, equipment upkeep, and implementation of standardized lab processes.
• Develop and maintain equipment checkout and tracking systems to ensure laboratory assets are properly utilized and accounted for.
• Monitor laboratory activities and help ensure workspaces remain clean, safe, organized, and compliant with applicable standards.
• Coordinate maintenance, calibration, repair, and replacement activities for laboratory equipment and tools.
• Maintain toolboxes, engineering fixtures, test equipment, and general lab supplies.
• Support engineers by creating and revising 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, assemblies, and engineering documentation in accordance with Lam standards.
• Manage drawing updates, documentation releases, and other drafting-related activities within Lam product lifecycle management systems.
• Support engineering prototype builds, hardware evaluations, and laboratory testing activities.
• Submit and track Engineering Requests for Funds (ERFs) and assist engineers with procurement-related activities.
• Coordinate material, equipment, and logistics activities required to support engineering projects.
• Interface with engineers, technicians, suppliers, and internal support organizations to drive effective execution of team objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve laboratory efficiency, organization, documentation, and workflow processes.

Who we’re looking for

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Drafting Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience supporting engineering, laboratory, manufacturing, or technical development environments.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and mechanical assemblies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to work a shift schedule.

Preferred qualifications

• Proficient in 3D CAD tools, preferably Creo and/or NX.
• Experience creating and maintaining detailed mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with Teamcenter, PLM systems, or engineering document control processes.
• Experience managing laboratory equipment, shop tools, or technical workspaces.
• Experience supporting procurement activities, capital requests, or Engineering Requests for Funds (ERFs).
• Knowledge of semiconductor equipment, electroplating systems, fluid handling systems, or precision mechanical assemblies.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
