  • The role is listed as hybrid – workers in this role are expected to work from the listed office on a semi-regular basis.

Meet the Team

The Sales and Partner Incentive Team drives business capabilities, engagement, and enablement for Cisco Sales and Services across planning, coverage, crediting, compensation, and reporting. We partner closely with business stakeholders to bring Cisco's product, service, and program strategies to life for customers and partners. Within the team, Sales Coverage, Crediting, and Compensation (SC3) is a high-performance group that pairs Agile and hybrid methodologies with a growing emphasis on AI-driven automation. Our primary focus is on transformational and recurring-revenue initiatives, with additional stretch opportunities in Optimize the Business (OTB) projects.

Your Impact

As the successful candidate, you will lead efforts to design and deliver meaningful improvements to Cisco's operational capabilities, building strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders to advance shared strategic goals. You will:

  • End-to-End Ownership: Apply deep knowledge of the Goal-to-Cash (G2C) process to design cohesive experiences spanning initial planning, quota-setting, and final seller payouts.
  • Requirements & Delivery: Lead thorough requirements gathering, translate business needs into clear Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) and user stories, and ensure on-time delivery that meets expectations.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Conduct data analytics and metric deep-dives to identify root causes and drive corrective action on any deviation from success criteria.
  • Operational Readiness: Drive the operationalization of next-generation business models, shape execution to minimize user impact, and accelerate Cisco's go-to-market for recurring-revenue models.
  • Program & Risk Management: Provide program and project leadership to ensure operational readiness for Cisco's SC3 functions, proactively identifying and resolving risks and roadblocks along the way.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership of multiple programs or medium-to-large functional teams, with measurable outcomes.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in business or IT consulting, business operations, integration, or operations management.
  • Proven expertise in at least two business capability domains such as order management, compensation, sales performance management, distribution compensation, or reporting, with measurable contributions.
  • Hands-on experience running operations with product management discipline, including process improvement, organizational change, and systems management.
  • Experience managing project portfolios — planning, reporting, and advising across concurrent projects — with quantifiable results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, information technology, or a related field.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep expertise in seller territory coverage planning, complex crediting rules, and incentive compensation mechanics, applied to build intuitive workflows.
  • Tool Familiarity: Experience with enterprise compensation tools (e.g., SAP Callidus, Anaplan, Xactly, Varicent, Salesforce Commissions) or custom-built ICM platforms.
  • Storytelling & Executive Presentation: Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, used to communicate product vision, roadmap strategy, and operational change to leadership and federated teams.
  • Change Leadership: Ability to drive organization-wide change through innovative ideas and measurable impact.
  • AI Fluency: Experience exploring and applying AI practices and tools to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Team Leadership: Skilled at leading federated teams that include direct, matrixed, and third-party reports.
  • Delivery Track Record: Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade SaaS products or internal platforms.
