Description and Requirements

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated AI-Assisted Automation Engineer to drive quality engineering and automation initiatives across Android and iOS platform across AI-powered products. The ideal candidate will leverage AI-assisted development and testing tools to accelerate test design, automation development, validation, and quality insights while maintaining a strong customer-centric quality focus.

This role requires a strong technical foundation in automation, mobile platforms, and modern AI-assisted engineering practices to improve productivity, scalability, and release quality.

Responsibilities

  • Understand product requirements and translate them into effective test strategies, test plans, and automation solutions.
  • Develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Android and iOS applications.
  • Utilize AI-assisted tools and Agentic AI capabilities to accelerate test design, automation development, test execution, and quality reporting.
  • Execute and support validation activities across mobile applications, ecosystem integrations, and connected experiences.
  • Develop automated test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and user centric scenarios.
  • Analyze test results, investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis, and work with development teams to drive resolution.
  • Contribute to quality metrics, release readiness activities, risk identification, and defect management for assigned programs.
  • Participate in project planning, estimation, and execution activities.
  • Coordinate testing and automation activities with less experienced team members when required.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation best practices within the team.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, and Product teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Deliver a user-centric quality approach focused on real-world customer experiences and product reliability.

Required Qualifications

  • BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in Software Development Engineering in Test, Automation Engineering, or Quality Engineering.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with SQL and database validation.
  • Strong experience in Android and iOS application testing and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with device automation frameworks and mobile test automation tools.
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI-assisted development, testing, and automation platforms.
  • Experience using Agentic AI or GenAI technologies for quality engineering workflows.
  • Exposure to IoT ecosystem validation and connected device testing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based test infrastructure.
  • Understanding of Agile and DevOps development practices.
