Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated AI-Assisted Automation Engineer to drive quality engineering and automation initiatives across Android and iOS platform across AI-powered products. The ideal candidate will leverage AI-assisted development and testing tools to accelerate test design, automation development, validation, and quality insights while maintaining a strong customer-centric quality focus.

This role requires a strong technical foundation in automation, mobile platforms, and modern AI-assisted engineering practices to improve productivity, scalability, and release quality.

Responsibilities

Understand product requirements and translate them into effective test strategies, test plans, and automation solutions.
Develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Android and iOS applications.
Utilize AI-assisted tools and Agentic AI capabilities to accelerate test design, automation development, test execution, and quality reporting.
Execute and support validation activities across mobile applications, ecosystem integrations, and connected experiences.
Develop automated test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and user centric scenarios.
Analyze test results, investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis, and work with development teams to drive resolution.
Contribute to quality metrics, release readiness activities, risk identification, and defect management for assigned programs.
Participate in project planning, estimation, and execution activities.
Coordinate testing and automation activities with less experienced team members when required.
Contribute to process improvements and automation best practices within the team.
Collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, and Product teams to ensure successful delivery.
Deliver a user-centric quality approach focused on real-world customer experiences and product reliability.

Required Qualifications

BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
3 to 6 years of experience in Software Development Engineering in Test, Automation Engineering, or Quality Engineering.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Experience with SQL and database validation.
Strong experience in Android and iOS application testing and automation.
Hands-on experience with device automation frameworks and mobile test automation tools.
Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design, and defect lifecycle management.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI-assisted development, testing, and automation platforms.
Experience using Agentic AI or GenAI technologies for quality engineering workflows.
Exposure to IoT ecosystem validation and connected device testing.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based test infrastructure.
Understanding of Agile and DevOps development practices.
