About Our Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Strong Authentication (SA) Engineer to design, implement, and support secure authentication solutions across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), phishing-resistant authentication, identity security, and automation, with a strong understanding of authentication protocols and cryptographic principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support enterprise authentication and MFA solutions.
- Deploy and manage phishing-resistant authentication technologies including FIDO2 Security Keys, Passkeys, Windows Hello for Business (WHfB), and Certificate-Based Authentication (CBA).
- Administer authentication methods such as TOTP, push notifications, and passwordless authentication.
- Manage and support RADIUS AAA, Microsoft NPS, and related authentication services.
- Integrate authentication platforms with enterprise applications, VPNs, network devices, and cloud services.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, PKI requirements, FIDO protocols, and organizational security policies.
- Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, KQL, and Azure DevOps.
- Troubleshoot authentication and security issues using tools such as Postman and Fiddler.
- Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to enhance authentication security and performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), MFA, and authentication technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), authentication protocols, cryptography, and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Passkeys, FIDO2, WHfB, CBA, RADIUS, and passwordless authentication.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, KQL, and automation tools.
- Experience with Active Directory, Azure DevOps, reverse proxies, and Docker.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience with Zero Trust architecture and phishing-resistant authentication strategies.
- Knowledge of PKI, certificate lifecycle management, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML.
