Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Process Engineer to join our team in a dynamic semiconductor manufacturing environment. In this role, you will support wafer fabrication equipment and processes across one or more functional areas, including Photolithography, Etch, Deposition, Diffusion, and related technologies.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate with a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced process and product engineers in a small-scale semiconductor fabrication facility.
As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing process recipes to ensure consistent manufacturing performance and product quality. You will also provide technical project support, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and serve as the process owner for assigned areas, partnering with cross-functional teams to solve complex manufacturing challenges and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Create and update documentation describing product manufacture or equipment operation.
- Implement and monitor tool and process SPC.
- Design, run and document results of experiments under the direction of senior engineers.
- Communicate and consult with team members and other staff, as necessary, to successfully complete tasks.
- New process qualification and qualification of processes on new tools.
- Must keep accurate records of all activities related to running process experiments or making process changes.
- Other design, development, and support tasks as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- B.S. in Chemical, Electrical, Material or other related engineering discipline.
- Experience, coursework, or knowledge of best-practice engineering principles.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with high proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to think out-of-the-box and create unique solutions to problems.
- Must be well organized with the ability to present information for suggested process improvements to the Wafer Fabrication engineering team.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills (English).
Preferred:
- Coursework or internship experience with Semiconductor products.
- Familiarity with statistical methods such as Design of Experiments, Statistical Process Control and Gage R&R.
- Experience working as an engineer in a fab environment (including coop or intern work).
- Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing certification

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $70,304-$143,000.**Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
