The Role:
The EMEA Public Relations Manager drives product-related public relations across EMEA, shaping how AMD’s innovation is communicated to media, partners, customers, and broader audiences. The role leads press engagement across all business lines, owns strategic PR relationships with OEM and ecosystem partners, and manages a team of Regional PR Managers.
Working closely with HQ PR segment leads, business units, sales, marketing, and AMD’s agency network, this leader will support product launches, competitive engagements, and proactive storytelling. The role offers the opportunity to strengthen AMD’s brand and industry leadership in high-performance and adaptive computing while building influential press communities across the region.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
The Person:
The successful candidate is a strategic and proactive communications leader who combines strong editorial judgment with commercial awareness. They are comfortable operating across a complex matrix, influencing senior stakeholders, leading teams and external partners, and translating technical innovation into compelling stories for varied audiences. They bring sound independent judgment, strategic agility, creativity, and a strong customer-centric mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and implement comprehensive PR strategies across AMD’s product portfolio, aligning storytelling with corporate and commercial objectives.
- Provide cross-functional leadership and ensure consistent, cohesive, and on-brand narratives across business units.
- Partner with regional sales and marketing teams to develop and execute integrated communications strategies.
- Build cooperative PR programs with key industry partners to amplify shared success stories and product launches.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, aligning commercial and communications priorities.
- Establish and manage the regional press engagement strategy, cultivating relationships with tier-one technology, business, and lifestyle media.
- Generate and localise content for global and regional announcements, overseeing timely translation and distribution through approved providers.
- Lead proactive media programs, including product reviews, in collaboration with HQ and regional teams.
- Organise press briefings, conferences, interviews, and other events that strengthen AMD’s visibility and leadership narrative.
- Develop creative, lifestyle, and influencer-led storytelling opportunities that extend AMD’s reach beyond traditional technical reviews.
- Manage PR agencies across EMEA, directing reactive responses, strategic planning, and creative execution while ensuring efficient, business-focused outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate press coverage, using insights to refine future strategies, and improve impact.
- Uphold best practices in media engagement, ensuring quality, compliance, and consistency across all programs.
Preferred Experience:
- Proven ability to develop and execute regional product PR strategies within a global, matrixed organisation.
- Demonstrated leadership of communications teams and PR agencies across multiple EMEA markets.
- Established relationships with tier-one technology, business, and lifestyle media across EMEA.
- Strong track record supporting product launches, media reviews, partner campaigns, and executive press engagements.
- Ability to translate complex technology and business priorities into clear, differentiated, and audience-relevant stories.
- Skilled in managing regional programs, external suppliers, resources, and budgets to deliver measurable editorial impact.
Qualifications:
- A degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, business, or related discipline is preferred but not required.

Compensation: Expected salary range: GBP 57,750.00 per year to GBP 82,500.00 per year
