EMEA ISV Partner Marketing | Security DevOps Observability, EMEA ISV Marketing
This role is an ISV Partner Marketing Manager responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy and execution for AWS's technology partnerships across the DevOps, Observability, and Security software categories in EMEA.
The successful candidate will own the end-to-end partner marketing relationship with leading ISV partners (software companies) in these categories — developing joint marketing plans, enabling co-sell motions, and accelerating customer adoption of partner solutions built on or integrated with AWS.
Unique to this role: Many EMEA-based ISVs in the DevOps/Observability/Security space are simultaneously AWS technology partners *and* AWS customers. This creates an **ISV 360** opportunity where the role supports both:
- Sell-with / Sell-through — traditional partner marketing: driving joint GTM, co-marketing campaigns, and partner-sourced pipeline for mutual customers
- Sell-to — Account-Based Marketing (ABM) support for EMEA-headquartered ISVs who are also AWS customers, helping drive their own AWS consumption and workload migration.
This dual motion means the role will collaborate closely with both the ISV Partner Org (partner-facing) and the ISV Sales team (customer-facing) to deliver a unified 360° approach — maximizing value for the partner, AWS, and end customers.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute Joint Marketing Plans (JMPs) with ISV partners in DevOps, Observability, and Security — delivering integrated campaigns that drive partner-sourced pipeline
- Manage MDF/co-investment budgets and build joint GTM messaging, solution briefs, and sales enablement assets with partner alliances and field teams
- Execute ISV 360 ABM motions (1:1 and 1:few) for EMEA-based ISVs that are also AWS customers, aligning sell-to activities with account plans and consumption goals
- Serve as primary marketing contact for assigned partners; enable them on AWS co-marketing programmes and coordinate with Global ISV Partner Marketing on worldwide alignment
- Track and report on PSQL, partner-attributed revenue, campaign ROI, and pipeline visibility across sell-to, sell-with, and sell-through motions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with field marketing, solutions architects, partner development managers, and the Marketplace team to deliver integrated customer experiences
A day in the life
A typical day involves a mix of partner and customer-facing and internal collaboration. You might start with a call with a DevOps ISV partner reviewing campaign performance, then shift to building an ABM plan for an EMEA-headquartered security ISV that's also an AWS customer. Afternoons could include syncing with solutions architects on a joint solution brief, reviewing MDF requests, or aligning with the global team on a worldwide launch. You'll context-switch between strategic planning and hands-on execution — no two days look the same, but partners, customer growth, and pipeline are always at the centre.
About the team
You'll join the EMEA ISV & Strategic Workloads Partner Marketing team — a small, high-impact group responsible for marketing with AWS's most strategic technology partners (software companies) across Europe, Middle East, and Africa. The team operates at the intersection of partner marketing, field marketing, and ABM, working closely with partner alliances, sales, and solutions architecture. We value ownership, creative problem-solving, and a bias for action. The team is distributed across EMEA with a collaborative, flexible working culture.
