Electrical Master Data Specialist
We are looking for an Electrical Master Data Specialist to join our Engineering team in GBS and support a global digitalization initiative within Siemens.
In this role, you will combine your knowledge of electrical or automation products with technical data management, ensuring that device information used across engineering processes is accurate, complete and consistent.
You will work with technical specifications, manufacturer documentation and engineering systems to review, validate and improve master data for electrical and automation devices.
What will you do?
- Review and validate technical master data for electrical and automation devices.
- Research product information using technical datasheets, manufacturer documentation and engineering systems.
- Identify and resolve missing, incorrect or inconsistent technical data.
- Support data cleansing, enrichment and standardization activities.
- Maintain high data quality standards across different systems and sources.
- Work closely with Engineering, Product Management and system owners to clarify technical information.
- Document validation decisions and contribute to continuous improvement of data quality processes.
What are we looking for?
- Technical degree or university studies in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electromechanics or a related technical field.
- Good understanding of electrical components, industrial automation products and technical specifications.
- At least 3 years of experience working with technical documentation, product data, engineering data or master data.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to research and validate technical information from different sources.
- Advance level of English.
- Experience with EPLAN, CAE tools, SAP/ERP, PLM/PDM or Master Data Management will be highly valued.
