Overview

As an Education Account Technology Strategist, you will be the technology lead and trusted advisor for Microsoft Public Sector Education customers in Singapore. In partnership with the Account Executive, you will shape customer-aligned AI, cloud, data, security, AI workforce and Business Process strategies; translate institutional priorities into executable technology roadmaps; and orchestrate specialists, engineering, customer success, and partners to deliver measurable transformation outcomes and sustainable Microsoft growth.

This opportunity will allow you to deepen your education-industry and executive advisory expertise, lead complex multi-solution transformation programmes, and strengthen your ability to operationalise responsible AI at scale across teaching, learning, research, and administration. You will also build expertise in technology governance, partner-led delivery, adoption, and value realisation while working within Microsoft’s flexible work practices, subject to local role requirements.

Responsibilities

Your role and responsibilities include and is not limited to the following:

  • Customer technology and AI strategy leadership - Own and articulate the customer’s business priorities, technology landscape, risks, and multi-year transformation roadmap across AI, cloud, data, security, modern work, and business applications.
  • Trusted executive advisory - Build durable relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CISOs, provosts, and other senior leaders; connect technology investments to education outcomes; and constructively challenge customer assumptions with relevant industry insight.
  • Account planning and technical leadership - Partner with the Account Executive to define and execute the account strategy, identify technology-led growth opportunities, establish success measures, and maintain shared accountability for customer and Microsoft outcomes.
  • Cross-solution orchestration - Lead and align specialists, solution engineers, customer success teams, engineering and partners around an integrated customer plan, with clear governance, dependencies, and escalation paths.
  • Responsible AI and innovation - Help customers move from experimentation to scaled adoption by shaping secure, governed AI and agent strategies for teaching, learning, research, administration, and workforce development.
  • Value realisation and growth - Drive technical wins, workload adoption, consumption, and intent-to-use; support partner co-sell and delivery motions; and monitor progress against agreed business outcomes and account growth priorities.
  • Industry thought leadership - Apply education-sector trends, global best practices, customer proof points, and competitive insight to develop differentiated recommendations, executive briefings, workshops, and reusable practices for the wider team.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 4+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of technical consulting, technology strategy, technical consultative selling, business consulting, or related customer-facing experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in education, public sector, or similarly complex and regulated customer environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to advise senior executives and lead multi-year transformation strategies spanning AI, cloud, data, security, and modern work.
  • Proven success orchestrating cross-functional teams, partners, and executive stakeholders to achieve adoption, customer success, and growth outcomes.
