We Are
Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.
You Are
You have spent years in technical sales and you know the difference between a conversation that moves a deal forward and one that just fills a calendar slot. You understand 3DIC and advanced packaging not because you read a slide deck, but because you have been in the room when a customer is trying to figure out whether chiplet integration or heterogeneous die stacking solves their power-performance problem. You speak engineer fluently enough to earn credibility in a technical deep dive, and you speak business clearly enough to explain why a multi-quarter evaluation is worth the investment to your own leadership.
Long sales cycles do not frustrate you, they energize you. You know how to map a customer organization, find the people who actually make decisions, and build relationships that last beyond a single product release. You are comfortable coordinating across Applications Engineering, R&D, and Product Management without losing sight of the revenue goal. When a deal stalls, you do not wait for someone else to unstick it. You figure out what is missing, who needs to be in the conversation, and what has to happen next. You have a plan, and you execute it.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead technical sales campaigns for 3DIC solutions across strategic semiconductor accounts in Taiwan, managing complex, multi-quarter engagements from discovery through close
- Drive customer discovery and qualification to uncover business opportunities, map technical requirements, and align solution fit with customer roadmaps
- Develop and execute account engagement strategies that align with long-term customer design cycles and Synopsys revenue objectives
- Serve as the primary business and sales focal point for 3DIC opportunities, coordinating across sales teams, Applications Engineering, Product Management, and R&D to deliver cohesive customer engagements
- Build and maintain executive and technical relationships across customer organizations, including engineering leadership, architecture teams, and business stakeholders
- Identify, prioritize, and expand opportunities within strategic accounts to grow adoption of 3DIC solutions and drive business expansion
- Track campaign progress, customer success criteria, and business outcomes using CRM systems, providing accurate forecasting and executive-level visibility on key engagements
The Impact You Will Have
- Accelerate adoption of 3DIC solutions at strategic semiconductor accounts, directly contributing to revenue growth in one of the fastest-moving segments of the industry
- Shape how leading semiconductor companies approach advanced packaging and chiplet integration by aligning Synopsys technology with their most critical design challenges
- Influence product roadmaps by channeling market requirements, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback back to Product Management and R&D teams
- Enable Applications Engineering teams to deliver more effective technical engagements by providing clear business context, customer priorities, and campaign strategy
- Build long-term customer relationships that extend beyond individual deals, creating sustained business value and competitive differentiation for Synopsys
- Expand Synopsys footprint within accounts by identifying new use cases, stakeholders, and design programs where 3DIC solutions can solve real problems
- Provide leadership with accurate, actionable intelligence on pipeline health, customer sentiment, and market dynamics in the 3DIC space
What You'll Need
- 15+ years of experience in EDA sales, Applications Engineering, or Product Specialist roles with a strong technical foundation in semiconductor design or advanced packaging technologies
- Direct experience in the 3DIC market segment, including understanding of chiplet integration, heterogeneous die stacking, and advanced packaging workflows
- Proven ability to manage enterprise sales engagements and lead long-term technical campaigns involving multiple stakeholders and complex evaluation cycles
- Strong relationship-building skills with a track record of building and maintaining executive and technical relationships across customer organizations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams including Product Management, R&D, and Applications Engineering, and translate between technical and business priorities
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% to customer sites, industry events, and internal meetings
- Experience navigating complex technical and business situations, driving alignment on solutions, and moving deals forward through ambiguity
Who You Are
- You can walk into a customer meeting with an engineering team and a procurement VP in the same room and make both feel like you are speaking their language
- You do not need perfect information to move a deal forward, you figure out what questions to ask, who needs to answer them, and what the next milestone should be
- When a technical evaluation stalls, you dig in to understand whether it is a tool issue, a resourcing issue, a priority issue, or a relationship issue, and you address the real blocker
- You are organized enough to manage five accounts with overlapping timelines, competing priorities, and different stages of maturity without dropping threads or missing follow-ups
- You push back when a customer ask does not align with what the product actually does, and you do it in a way that preserves the relationship and redirects the conversation toward what is possible
- You treat internal teams like partners, not resources, and you know how to get Applications Engineering and Product Management bought into your strategy without pulling rank
