Director of Product Management Advertiser Experience
Introduction to the Team
Expedia Group Advertising (EGA) is Expedia Group's advertising business, helping travel brands connect with travelers across Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, and other EG brands throughout the traveler journey. EGA spans ad formats, marketplace and auction dynamics, targeting, and measurement — powering advertising experiences at global scale.
Our Advertiser Experience pillar owns how advertisers discover, onboard, and succeed across EGA's self-service and AI-powered tools, spanning our Sponsored Listing, Accelerator, and Display products. As Director of Product Management, Advertiser Experience, you will lead this pillar and a team of product managers, reporting into EGA Advertising Product. This is a high-impact role for a product leader who wants to shape how tens of thousands of advertisers grow their business on one of the world's largest travel platforms.
In this role, you will:
- Own the strategy and roadmap for EGA's advertiser-facing experience across Sponsored Listing, Accelerator, and Display, driving measurable improvement in onboarding completion, campaign adoption, and advertiser retention.
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of product managers — setting priorities, raising the bar on craft, and clearing the way for their execution.
- Define and drive EGA's partner agentic experience strategy, turning natural-language advertiser goals into guided and automated campaign actions.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, data science, and commercial teams to reduce friction across campaign creation, optimization, and reporting.
- Drive cross-sell and next-best-action strategies that grow advertiser usage across EGA's product portfolio.
- Represent the Advertiser Experience pillar in cross-functional planning, roadmap reviews, and executive updates, translating technical tradeoffs into clear business impact.
- Track industry trends in self-service and agentic advertising tools, and translate them into EGA's product strategy.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent related professional experience.
- 10+ years of product management experience, including owning a product area end-to-end in a high-growth or marketplace business.
- Experience managing and developing a team of product managers.
- Strong quantitative instincts: comfortable setting goals, reading adoption and funnel data, and prioritizing against onboarding, retention, and revenue outcomes.
- Track record of partnering closely with engineering, design, and data science to ship complex, customer-facing products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building self-service SaaS, advertiser or seller tooling, or AI-driven product experiences.
- Experience shipping agentic or LLM-powered product surfaces in production.
- Background in digital advertising, marketplaces, or two-sided platforms.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
