Description and Requirements
Commercial AI Sales Leader
The Commercial AI Sales Leader is responsible for defining and executing the Commercial AI growth strategy, driving pipeline creation, revenue attainment and customer acquisition across North America. This leader develops and scales Lenovo's Hybrid AI and AI Factory business by aligning sales, technical, services, and partner resources to accelerate AI adoption and deliver measurable business outcomes for customers.
Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership & Strategy
- Own Commercial AI revenue, pipeline, and customer acquisition objectives.
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly business plans to accelerate AI growth.
- Build go-to-market strategies aligned by segment.
- Establish growth priorities across AI infrastructure, AI Factory, Hybrid AI, and accelerated data center solutions.
- Drive forecasting, business reviews, and executive reporting.
Sales Leadership
- Lead and manage Commercial AI Business Development Managers.
- Support Client Managers, Global Account Managers, and ISG Specialists in identifying, qualifying, and advancing AI opportunities.
- Drive opportunity progression from discovery through closure.
- Develop repeatable sales motions and best practices to improve pipeline velocity and win rates.
Customer & Market Development
- Engage directly with executive customer stakeholders to identify and develop AI transformation opportunities.
- Conduct executive briefings, workshops, and strategic planning sessions.
- Evangelize Lenovo's Commercial AI vision, Hybrid AI Advantage, AI Factory strategy, and token economics value proposition.
- Represent Lenovo at industry conferences, customer events, analyst engagements, and partner forums.
Partner Ecosystem Leadership
- Develop and execute joint business plans with strategic partners including NVIDIA, Microsoft, ISVs, GSIs, and channel partners.
- Drive co-sell motions, marketing investments, and pipeline generation initiatives.
- Expand industry solution offerings through partner enablement and ecosystem engagement.
- Lead quarterly business reviews and strategic planning activities with alliance partners.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Product, Services, Marketing, Category, and Solution Architecture teams to develop differentiated AI offerings.
- Influence solution development, enablement programs, and demand generation initiatives.
- Drive alignment across Lenovo business units to deliver a unified One Lenovo AI strategy.

Basic Requirements:
- 10+ years of enterprise technology sales, business development, or sales leadership experience.
- Deep understanding of AI infrastructure, AI platforms, enterprise software, and ecosystem solutions.
Preferred Requirements:
- Proven track record leading high-performing sales and business development teams.
- Experience driving revenue growth in AI, cloud, infrastructure, data center, or emerging technology markets.
- Strong executive customer engagement and strategic partnership experience.
- Deep understanding of AI infrastructure, AI platforms, enterprise software, and ecosystem solutions.
- Ability to articulate business value and AI transformation outcomes at executive levels.
- Strong business planning, forecasting, and operational management skills.
- Executive presence with exceptional communication and presentation capabilities.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The anticipated annual compensation range for this position is 237,020–363,377 USD. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
