As a High-Volume Manufacturing Diffusion Equipment Shift Lead, you will lead a team towards flawless operations and world-class performance within a collaborative and innovative environment. In this people-oriented role, you will develop a growing team and gain cross-functional exposure while driving high operational impact in the Diffusion process area supporting our critical high-volume manufacturing ramp. This is a shift position rotating 3-4 days off a week.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of shift engineers and technicians, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
- Manage individual and team performance and accountability while promoting collaboration across teams.
- Track and optimize area quality, manage deviations, resolve equipment issues, and provide assistance for the development of experiments involving statistical process controls and data analysis.
- Verify the accuracy of procedures, and direct continuous improvement projects integrating AI in daily work.
- Drive equipment performance by optimizing fab performance, ensuring timely reaction to SPC events, and managing shift priorities effectively.
- Foster collaboration and communication, representing the area and driving resolution of issues impacting overall fab performance and wafer outs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and accident-free work environment while developing and improving safety protocols.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent semiconductor industry experience.
- Ability to work 12 hours shifts with 3-4 days off per week, rotating days/nights every 4 months.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to set priorities and ensure team goals are met.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively between various departments and team members.
- Proficient in applying statistical process controls and data analysis to assist with development experiments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Diffusion process area, Micron systems, processes and software.
- Previous leadership experience in a similar role.
- Expertise in TPM metrics, WS health reports, and continuous improvement projects.
- Familiarity with performance management tools and experience in conducting interviews for hires and promotions.
- Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes.
