Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $128000 - $187000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute end-to-end product controllership processes, policies, and controls, recommending best practices to optimize workflows and maintain compliance.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders to define, implement, and govern cross-functional revenue accounting systems and processes.
  • Review deal structures and perform technical accounting assessments to determine appropriate accounting treatments and mitigate financial and operational risks.
  • Lead accounting operational readiness for hardware product launches to ensure products, systems, and workflows are fully finance-ready prior to launch.
  • Prepare month-end close financials, execute key SOX controls with internal and external auditors, and drive scalability by centralizing and automating accounting processes.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • 7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Accounting.
  • Experience managing project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and project documentation.
  • Ability to have a collaborative style and work with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Ability to propose next steps and roadblock solutions and anticipate questions and challenges early, manage time, and follow work plans.
  • Ability to have strong attention to detail, organizational skills and focus on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
