Data Quality & Governance Analyst (Nashville, TN)
The Global Program Controls organization provides governance, reporting, controls processes, cost management support, and portfolio visibility to help Oracle Cloud Infrastructure deliver global data center programs with greater consistency, transparency, and execution discipline.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Data Quality & Governance Analyst to strengthen enterprise data integrity and help turn data into a trusted strategic asset. This individual contributor will lead hands-on data-quality initiatives across master data environments, identify and resolve complex data inconsistencies, and establish sustainable practices that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enable smarter, data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead data-quality assessments and improvement initiatives across enterprise and master data domains.
- Profile, validate, cleanse, reconcile, and monitor data to identify gaps, duplicates, inconsistencies, and integrity issues.
- Investigate root causes of data-quality problems and coordinate practical, sustainable resolution with business and technical stakeholders.
- Serve as a data steward for assigned data domains, helping define ownership, standards, controls, business rules, and quality expectations.
- Develop and maintain data-quality metrics, scorecards, dashboards, exception reports, and remediation tracking.
- Partner with business teams, finance, delivery, technology, and risk/compliance stakeholders to improve data governance practices.
- Support the design and maintenance of unified data models, common definitions, and master-data management processes.
- Document data flows, critical data elements, validation rules, business definitions, lineage, and operating procedures.
- Improve data-entry processes and controls to prevent errors at the source and promote consistent adoption across teams.
- Use data analysis to identify process-improvement opportunities that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and strengthen internal controls.
- Support audit, regulatory, reporting, and operational requirements by ensuring data is complete, accurate, timely, and traceable.
- Translate complex data issues into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $67,900 to $166,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- Eight or more years of experience in data quality, data governance, master data, business analysis, data operations, finance operations, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience resolving complex data-quality issues across multiple systems or data sources.
- Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, data integrity, data governance, stewardship, and process improvement.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, lookups, and error identification.
- Experience with reporting or data-visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with enterprise systems, data warehouses, CRM, ERP, financial, or master-data platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using SQL to query, validate, reconcile, and analyze data.
- Experience in financial services, banking, insurance, accounting, fintech, or another highly regulated environment.
- Experience with formal data-governance frameworks, master-data management, data catalogs, or metadata-management tools.
- Familiarity with data-quality tools, data controls, audit support, or regulatory reporting.
- Experience designing data-quality rules, key performance indicators, and governance operating models.
- Certification or coursework in data governance, data management, business analysis, Lean, Six Sigma, or a related discipline.
