Join Amazon's Builder Experience Team (BeXT) as a Data Center Operations Site HR Partner and make every day better for the Builders who power AWS. This is a 100% on-site role where you'll be embedded in the Data Centers you support, serving as the voice of Builders and the strategic HR partner to site leadership. You'll work across a cluster of Data Centers, traveling weekly to ensure every Builder feels valued, engaged, and supported.
What we are looking for:
Builder Advocacy: Proactively monitor and analyze Builder sentiment trends using listening mechanisms. Provide regular sentiment updates and recommended actions to site leadership and HRBPs. Ensure Builders feel fully engaged in their work and valued for who they are.
Strategic Partnership: Partner with Data Center Operations leaders at multiple levels to develop proactive strategies and goals focused on the Builder experience. Connect sentiment trends and HR data to operational goals while diving deep into details.
HR Expertise: Apply HR fundamentals to problem-solve across talent management, performance management, compensation, and employee relations. Support Builder queries with discretion and expertise, navigating Amazon Policies with high judgment. Conduct workplace investigations in collaboration with Builder Relations.
Leadership Development: Consult, coach, and develop site leadership through decision-making with empathy and sound judgment. Foster and role model an environment of inclusion for all Builders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with partner teams to innovate, implement, and deploy HR strategies across your cluster of Data Centers. Manage through ambiguity in a fast-paced, continuously innovating environment.
A day in the life
You'll conduct weekly Gemba Go See (GGS) walks, engaging directly with Builders to understand their experience. You'll leverage Builder sentiment data to advocate for their needs, partnering with site leaders to develop proactive strategies focused on engagement. You'll consult and coach leadership through talent management, performance management, compensation decisions, and employee relations issues, applying empathy and sound judgment. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to align on Builder engagement actions. You'll conduct workplace investigations, manage Builder concerns as the first point of escalation, and own site-specific people projects that drive impact.
