Introduction to the job

Provides technical supports field engineers and technical teams in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues that cannot be solved through first-line support. Collaborates with engineering teams to address design, reliability, and maintenance issues, and supports customer installations, training, and new product introductions.

Role and responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to field engineers and local teams for troubleshooting, repair, and system performance issues.
  • Resolve complex equipment problems through established escalation and service management processes.
  • Communicate design, reliability, and maintenance issues to engineering teams and support corrective actions.
  • Drive engineering changes and field modifications through change management processes.
  • Support new product introductions, product releases, quality initiatives, technical reporting, and field service communications.
  • Lead or support new product launches, customer installations, training, and system readiness activities.
  • Deliver technical training on new systems and provide feedback to improve serviceability and field operations.
  • Monitor field performance, analyze recurring failures, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead local projects, coordinate global and regional resources, and drive project completion.
  • Support cross-functional and global escalations, including international travel when on-site assistance is required.

Education and experience

  • Above Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3~5 years of semiconductor equipment support experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Technical support/field service experience in semiconductor photolithography/semiconductor fab environment is highly desired, knowledge and background of DUV is high plus.

Skills

  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor lithography, DUV systems, optics, electronics, software, and mechanical engineering.
  • Experience analyzing system performance data and reporting findings through statistical or graphical methods.
  • Proficiency with engineering and data analysis tools such as Excel, JMP, LabView, MS Project, Agile, or similar tools.
  • Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical documentation, analyze data, and drive resolution of technical issues.
  • Fluent in English proficiency (written and verbal)
