Customer Success Account Manager

As a Customer Success Account Manager (CSAM), you serve as the primary customer success leader responsible for orchestrating customer outcomes across Microsoft and partner teams. You engage stakeholders, align on strategic priorities, and lead Customer Success Planning to help customers strengthen operational health, accelerate cloud adoption, and advance AI transformation initiatives. By connecting customer goals to Microsoft capabilities, Success Programs, and Success Management Services, you drive coordinated execution and measurable value realization. You proactively manage customer risks, guide governance and delivery rhythms, and help ensure customers achieve durable outcomes that strengthen trust and expand the value of their Microsoft investments.

Responsibilities
- Build trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders and Microsoft teams, helping align technology investments to strategic business priorities and outcomes.
- Lead stakeholder and priority alignment efforts across customer organizations, establishing shared objectives, success measures, and governance approaches.
- Own Customer Success Planning and execution, translating business priorities into coordinated success motions that drive measurable customer value.
- Orchestrate cross-functional execution that strengthens customer health, accelerates cloud adoption, and advances AI transformation across customer environments.
- Leverage Success Management Services, Success Programs, and broader Microsoft resources to drive scaled execution, value realization, and customer success outcomes.
- Proactively manage customer risks, adoption challenges, and delivery dependencies, guiding stakeholders toward resolution and long-term success.
- Serve as a customer advocate and customer success leader, continuously improving execution effectiveness and helping customers realize durable business value from Microsoft investments.
Qualifications
Required Qualificatons:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science or related field AND solid customer success, solution delivery, practice management, customer-facing consulting, or portfolio management experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- This role requires collaboration with local customers; therefore, fluency in German is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure, M365, Copilot)
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification or equivalent service management certification
- Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent Project Management certification
- Prosci or equivalent certification
Customer Success Account Mgmt IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Switzerland is CHF 126,000.00 - CHF 208,700.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
