Customer Outcomes Team & Capability Lead
Company Overview
Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
Position Overview
The role combines Customer Outcomes team talent management with direct people leadership, including line management of part of the Customer Outcomes organization.
We are looking for someone who can translate business strategy into a practical talent agenda that strengthens delivery today and builds the capabilities needed for mid to long term.
You will work closely with the Customer Outcomes leadership team, line managers, CoP (Communities of Practice) leaders, People & Organization, Talent Acquisition, and Learning to increase talent density across the organization!
The role also supports our growth ambitions in AI-related competencies and SaaS transformation. How can we anticipate our customers’ future needs and build integrated capabilities today to deliver greater value tomorrow?
The role is hybrid, based in Spain, with limited travel within Iberia based on business and team needs.
Key Responsibilities
- People leadership and development: Line management responsibility for part of the Customer Outcomes team, partnering with other line managers to turn business strategy into clear expectations and development priorities, and build trust through high-quality coaching and feedback.
- Talent strategy: Turn Customer Outcomes Iberia priorities into a practical talent strategy and annual roadmap that balances short-term needs with mid-to long-term capability ambitions.
- Talent density: Grow the collective capability of the organization by building the right mix of skills and expanding critical expertise, so that teams become more resilient and greater than the sum of their individual contributions.
- Talent reviews and development actions: Facilitate regular talent reviews to identify high-potential people, capability risks, and concrete development actions.
- Capability building: Coordinate targeted development in AI competencies, cloud transformation, leadership skills, and technical solution architecture, through formal learning, mentoring, coaching, and stretch assignments.
Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science, information technology, industrial technologies, or a related technical field, giving you the foundation to understand complex engineering, software, and AI-driven environments.
- Solid experience in talent management, organizational development, learning, and/or leadership development, with a demonstrated ability to turn business priorities into practical talent and capability actions.
- Hands-on knowledge of core talent processes, including talent reviews, capability development, performance management, and people analytics.
- Practical understanding of AI skill domains and emerging technologies, with the ability to identify critical future skills and guide capability-building priorities.
- Experience in industrial, engineering, manufacturing, software, digitalization, or technology-driven environments, with enough business and technical understanding to engage credibly with Solution Architects, technical leaders, and delivery teams.
- Experience leading teams or cross-functional initiatives, ideally combining direct people management with broader organizational influence.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, spoken and written.
Nice to Have
- Postgraduate qualification or executive education in AI for business, AI strategy, AI and digital transformation, or responsible AI and governance.
- Experience in a global, matrixed, or industrial digitalization environment, ideally including building AI capabilities or hiring AI-related talent.
