Description and Requirements

The Customer Collaboration Manager (CCM) for the Retail Business is responsible for partnering with Sales and external retail customers to develop, align, and manage an accurate demand plan, while ensuring the appropriate supply is secured to support business needs. This role serves as a key link between customer demand, internal planning, and supply execution, helping to optimize product availability, mitigate risks, and drive strong business performance.

The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capability with excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills. They must be comfortable working in ambiguous and fast-paced environments, proactively identifying risks and opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver solutions that support both the customer and Lenovo.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales teams and external retail customers to align on demand plans and translate business needs into supply requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasting processes to support accurate planning and decision-making.
  • Monitor supply position against demand plans, identifying risks related to excess inventory, constrained supply, or potential shortages.
  • Build and manage a business management system that provides clear visibility into demand, supply, risks, actions, and business performance.
  • Highlight issues that may impact the customer and/or Lenovo, and lead collaborative problem-solving with Sales, Business Management, Supply Chain, and customers.
  • Analyze data trends, forecast accuracy, inventory positions, and supply outlook to support recommendations and action plans.
  • Communicate supply and demand insights clearly and succinctly to internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Prepare and deliver effective business reviews, presentations, and status updates for leadership and customer discussions.
  • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of supply and demand plans.
  • Support issue resolution in situations involving ambiguity, changing priorities, and incomplete information.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance planning effectiveness, visibility, and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute positively in a team environment, sharing insights, collaborating effectively, and supporting broader business goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of full-time, relevant work experience with bachelor's degree or above
  • 5-7 years of full-time, relevant work experience with no advanced degree
  • Highly skilled jobs* require PhD with no full-time, relevant work experience
  • Experience in supply chain, customer collaboration, demand planning, inventory management, sales operations, or a related business function.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in forecasting, inventory management, replenishment planning, and supply-related business processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive cross-functional alignment, and deliver results without direct authority.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively across customers, partners, cross-functional teams, and leadership.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience leveraging reporting and analytics tools to drive business insights.
