CSA Technician, Self Perform

Description

Tesla is looking to hire multi-skilled CSA technicians to join our large-scale EPC project team. Candidates do not need expertise in every trade; strong skill in any CSA area below is enough to apply. Work spans early site logistics through structural support, rough carpentry, openings/hardware, and finishes support. 

Responsibilities

• Site logistics & temp works: Temp fencing, barricades, logistics yards, laydown, early site logistics, and temporary structures
• Structural & concrete support: Formwork, embeds, CSA concrete support, misc metals assist, equipment sleepers/pads
• Rough carpentry & openings: Blocking, backing, doors/frames/hardware, penetration framing
• Finishes & specialties: Interior finishes support/protection, access panels, drywall/painting
• Perform assigned labor safely and to drawing/spec quality under supervision
• Stage materials, maintain housekeeping, and protect finished work
• Support install, modify, and demolish temporary and permanent CSA elements as directed

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in one or more CSA trades (e.g., carpentry, drywall/finishes, formwork/concrete support, DFH, site logistics/temp works, misc metals assist, or similar)
• Able to take direction, work in a crew, and shift tasks as priorities change
• Physically able to perform construction labor (lift ~50 lbs., climb, outdoor/indoor conditions) 
• Commitment to site safety/PPE; reliable attendance including overtime as needed
• Multi-trade or generalist CSA background on commercial/industrial projects
• Ability to read basic construction drawings; relevant certifications (lift, forklift, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of job site safety, with the ability to evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning, focusing on electrical hazards and safety procedures
