SUMMARY:
Provides specialized product and systems configuration management in support of Nintendo’s products.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Works with customers such as Engineers, Design, Technical Services, Stores, Sales, and Marketing to develop product and part specifications. Remediates issues and gain stakeholder alignment to standards and guidelines. Ensure requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Research part identification and Bill of Materials (BOM) structure for parts and materials.
- Generates BOMs and part numbers to support NOA products. Analyzes, troubleshoots workflow process issues. Propose and implement approved solutions.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in initiatives with a broad range of departments on special projects related to configuration control.
- Follow standard configuration practices and ensure specifications conform.
- Manage part requests and approval process flow. Identify and resolve process issues.
- Ensure conformity to data stewardship models and effectively communicates changes to released documentation.
- Coordinate with other departments to manage New Product Introduction ensuring needed information is in the system at the appropriate time to meet production schedules.
- Participate in Configuration Control Board meetings and Process Improvement meetings.
- Ensure security of confidential parts and product information.
- Understand integration testing of departmental applications, including ERP version updates and monthly releases, and its impact to their process.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of one year of experience working with ERP systems.
- Basic knowledge/experience using Agile software, or equivalent product lifecycle management software, for creation and maintenance of items, bills of material, and specifications.
- Experience working with multiple departments on a unified project timeline and objectives.
- Expertise in Part Number Methodology and Configuration Control process.
- Requires basic knowledge of engineering/technology theories, practices and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical degree or equivalent work experience.
This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This contract position includes the base pay range listed below and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits include eligibility for medical insurance, employee assistance program, and paid sick leave. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms. Benefits offerings will be confirmed at the time of offer by the employing agency, and may differ depending on the employing agency partner.
Pay range:
$30-$50 USD
