Description and Requirements
The Consumer Technology Retail Director is responsible for defining and executing Lenovo’s consumer sales strategy to deliver profitable revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen customer and partner satisfaction across Mexico and all assigned sales channels.
This senior leadership role leads a team of sales professionals and works cross-functionally with Product Management, Marketing, eCommerce, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Services, and Channel Partners to ensure the successful execution of Lenovo’s consumer business objectives.
As a key member of the country leadership team, t this role provides strategic direction, actionable business insights, and strong execution discipline to achieve quarterly and annual revenue, profit, sell-in, sell-out, and market share commitments.
The role is also responsible for strengthening Lenovo’s position across the consumer technology ecosystem, including PCs, gaming, premium devices, AI PCs, accessories, software, and services, while developing sustainable channel partnerships and identifying new growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic negotiations involving commercial agreements, pricing, promotional investments, product assortment, business development, and joint growth plans.
- Develop joint business plans with key partners, including revenue objectives, portfolio priorities, marketing activities, demand generation, and operational commitments.

- Develop and execute the annual and quarterly consumer sales strategy in alignment with Lenovo’s country, regional, and global business objectives.
- Deliver revenue, gross profit, market share, sell-in, sell-out, and inventory targets across all consumer segments and assigned channels.
- Translate Lenovo’s strategic priorities into clear commercial plans, channel objectives, customer initiatives, and measurable execution milestones.
- Identify new growth opportunities through market analysis, competitive intelligence, customer insights, channel performance, and emerging consumer trends.
- Drive the expansion of Lenovo’s ecosystem business, including accessories, services, software, gaming, AI PCs, premium products, and other adjacent solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Previous leadership experience within the PC technology industry focus on gaming, retail and consumer electronics.
- Extensive experience in sales leadership, general management, commercial strategy, or channel management.
- Experience working with regional and global leadership teams.
- Proven track record of delivering revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion.
- Demonstrated experience leading sales teams and managing business performance through structured KPIs.
- Strong understanding of retail, distribution, eCommerce, marketplaces, and omnichannel business models.
- Experience managing complex commercial negotiations and executive relationships with strategic customers and partners.
- Strong financial and business acumen, including experience interpreting or managing P&L drivers.
- Experience with forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, pricing, and promotional investments.
- Ability to lead and influence effectively within a global, regional, and matrixed organization.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate market data into business decisions and commercial actions.
- Excellent executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
