Consumer Partnerships Manager, UberOne
About the role and team
Uber One is our membership program. It brings together savings and benefits across Rides, Eats, Grocery and Retail, and a growing set of external partners. Partnerships are a big part of what makes membership worth paying for.
As Consumer Partnerships Manager, you will own the relationships with our Uber One partners. You will grow the value these partnerships deliver to members and to the partners' businesses. You will be the main commercial contact for a portfolio of partners. You will shape the joint plan with each one, and you will work across Uber's Business Development, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Legal teams to deliver it.
This role suits someone who is commercially sharp and likes building relationships. You should be comfortable owning a portfolio, setting your own priorities, and showing the results in the numbers.
What you’ll do
- (1) Own and grow the partner portfolio
Act as the day-to-day commercial owner for a portfolio of Uber One partners. Run regular business reviews and keep a clear, shared view of performance. - Build joint growth plans with each partner. These should have clear targets for member acquisition, activation, engagement and retention.
- Find and develop new ways to grow with existing partners, such as expanded benefits, new categories, co-funded offers and co-marketing.
(2) Drive member value
- Make sure partner benefits are compelling, easy to understand and easy to redeem, so members get real value from them.
- Use member insights, redemption data and feedback to improve partner propositions and fix friction in the member experience.
- Work with Product, Design and Engineering on how partner benefits show up in the Uber app and on other surfaces.
(3) Execute and measure
- Plan and run partner campaigns and promotions with Marketing and CRM, and track their incremental impact on membership and partner outcomes.
- Build and maintain performance reporting for your portfolio, such as partner-level scorecards. Use the data to prioritise and to make a clear case for investment.
- Work with Finance on partner economics, including funding models, budgets and ROI.
(4) Negotiate and manage commercial terms
- Negotiate and renew partner agreements with Legal and Finance, balancing member value, partner outcomes and Uber's commercial interests.
- Manage the partner lifecycle from onboarding and launch through to optimisation and renewal. Handle escalations and risk proactively.
(5) Collaborate and share knowledge
- Work with regional and global Uber One teams to share what works, reuse proven partnership playbooks, and contribute to the ANZ strategy.
- Keep up with the market, including competing membership and loyalty programs, and bring relevant ideas back to the team.
