Join Visa’s People Systems team and help shape technology experiences that make talent processes simpler, smarter, and more impactful for employees and leaders around the world.
As Consultant, Talent Products and Systems, you will help shape and deliver the product experience for Visa’s Talent Management platforms, with a primary focus on Workday Talent modules, including Performance, and related external systems across a global organization. This role will partner closely with Talent Management stakeholders, HR, IT, vendors, and cross-functional partners to translate business needs into clear requirements and deliver scalable capabilities that create measurable value.
You will bring a product mindset to Talent Management systems by developing a deep understanding of user needs, evaluating tradeoffs, prioritizing enhancements, and driving delivery of solutions that improve talent, performance, succession, objective setting, and employee development experiences.
All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work. This role also requires the agility to support products and systems across the broader Talent ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a product-oriented partner for Talent Management systems by contributing to product direction and identifying opportunities to improve the employee and leader experience.
Translate prioritized needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution designs; configure, test, release, and maintain Talent Management capabilities supporting performance, succession, objective setting, and employee development.
Partner with COE subject matter experts, HR, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders by aligning on outcomes, defining scope, prioritizing requirements, managing dependencies and tradeoffs, and driving initiatives from discovery through launch.
Help contribute to a forward-looking product roadmap by identifying opportunities to improve usability, adoption, efficiency, and overall employee and leader experience.
Build trusted relationships with Talent Management and other stakeholders to proactively identify issues, clarify business outcomes, and provide timely, solutions-focused support.
Communicate clearly and effectively with diverse global stakeholders across technical and business functions, translating complex topics into concise decisions and actions.
Facilitate user acceptance testing, including test case development, execution, documentation, and feedback synthesis; contribute to overall test strategies for talent modules.
Evaluate Workday releases, assess impact, and recommend enhancements that drive business value, innovation, and alignment to the product roadmap as needed.
Maintain and update the agile delivery board to support sprint planning and execution to keep work moving efficiently.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or at least 2 years of work experience with an advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA, JD, MD), or 0 years of experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
6 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 4 or more years with an advanced degree, or up to 3 years with a PhD
2+ years’ experience configuring Workday Talent Management modules including performance & talent reviews, feedback, Career Hub, succession planning.
Experience with Workday business processes, custom reports, security, calculated fields, EIBs, and dashboards
3+ years’ total Workday configuration or technical HRIS experience
Experience supporting Talent Management processes in a global organization
Exceptional communication and customer-facing skills; able to interact effectively with diverse groups of global stakeholders, both technical and business users
Experience working with Jira and familiarity with Agile delivery methods
Demonstrated ability to build relationships, actively listen, and deliver customer-focused solutions
Strong follow-through and ability to drive resolution of complex system issues
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Workday Pro Certification(s) in Talent modules preferred
