About the Role
As a Compensation Administrator, you will ensure the accurate, timely and controlled delivery of compensation programs across multiple countries and business units. You will translate approved compensation decisions into operational processes, system transactions, payroll inputs and data updates while maintaining strong governance and audit readiness. This role combines compensation operations, data management, stakeholder collaboration and process improvement to support effective compensation outcomes. Success is measured through accuracy, timeliness, data quality, risk management and service excellence.
What You Will Be Doing
• Administer salary changes, incentive payments, bonuses, promotions and retention awards in line with approved policies and governance.
- Coordinate compensation cycles and bonus programs, including eligibility reviews, proration calculations, participant updates and payout support.
- Process and validate compensation transactions, mass uploads and HR system updates while maintaining data accuracy.
- Partner with Payroll, Finance, People teams and Compensation specialists to ensure timely execution and reconciliation of compensation activities.
- Perform pre- and post-load validation checks, investigate exceptions and maintain complete audit documentation.
- Support market benchmarking, pay range analysis, compa-ratio reviews and internal pay equity assessments.
- Assist with job architecture activities, organizational changes, mergers and acquisitions integration, and compensation fitment initiatives.
- Support international transfers and global mobility compensation reviews using market data, peer comparisons and incentive considerations.
- Manage compensation-related cases and inquiries, providing accurate guidance and escalating issues when required.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, automate activities and enhance operational efficiency.
What You Need
• 4 to 7 years of experience in compensation operations, compensation administration, HR operations, payroll operations or a related discipline. - Strong knowledge of compensation fundamentals including salary ranges, pay structures, midpoint positioning, compa-ratio, bonus eligibility and internal equity.
- Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience processing HRIS transactions, data uploads and compensation-related system maintenance.
- Working knowledge of Workday and experience with EIB transactions or mass data processing.
- Ability to interpret policies, governance requirements and operational procedures accurately.
- Strong problem-solving, reconciliation and exception-management capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain compensation concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting global or multi-country compensation programs. - Experience with annual compensation planning, incentive administration and bonus processing.
- Knowledge of compensation surveys, market benchmarking and job architecture practices.
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions integration, restructuring activities or international transfer fitment.
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar case-management platforms.
- Exposure to process improvement, automation initiatives, reporting, dashboards or user acceptance testing activities.
