As our Community & Event Manager – AI, Platform & Business Expansion, you'll help connect developers, customers, partners, startups, and industry leaders who are transforming how the world designs and makes. You'll create opportunities for people to learn, collaborate, and innovate through engaging content, meaningful community programs, and impactful events.
This is an opportunity to make a global impact. You'll collaborate across Business Development, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Developer Relations to grow Autodesk's AI and Platform ecosystem while creating experiences that inspire connection, advocacy, and innovation.

Responsibilities
Build and Grow Our Global Community
Develop and execute community engagement strategies aligned with Autodesk Platform Services, AI, and Business Development priorities
Build and nurture relationships with developers, customers, partners, and industry communities across digital and in-person channels
Foster meaningful conversations, encourage knowledge sharing, and help create an inclusive and engaged global community connected with Autodesk experts
Gather community feedback and customer insights to help inform business, marketing, and product initiatives
Create Engaging Content & Customer Stories
Create engaging content across LinkedIn, YouTube, Autodesk websites, blogs, newsletters, webinars, and community channels
Partner with customers, developers, and internal stakeholders to develop authentic success stories and thought leadership content
Repurpose content into social campaigns, videos, presentations, articles, and event materials
Collaborate with creative agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality content that drives engagement and extends the reach of community initiatives
Use data and audience insights to continuously improve engagement and content performance
Deliver Memorable Events & Experiences
Plan and support executive meetings, customer visits, webinars, community programs, and global conferences
Coordinate speakers, presentations, communications, logistics, and production activities
Extend the impact of in-person events by creating digital content and ongoing community engagement
Identify opportunities to strengthen customer advocacy, partnerships, and community programs
Drive Program Excellence
Manage multiple community initiatives, campaigns, and events simultaneously.
Develop scalable processes and best practices that improve program execution and support community growth
Track program performance, measure business impact, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Minimum Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in Community Management, Events, Marketing, Developer Relations, Customer Engagement, or a similar role within a B2B technology environment
Experience building, managing, or growing professional, customer, partner, or developer communities
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and translate complex ideas into compelling stories
Experience creating engaging content for LinkedIn, YouTube, webinars, blogs, or other digital channels
Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital community engagement strategies.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing demands, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to work independently while building strong relationships across a global organization
Professional English proficiency, both written and verbal
Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30–40%) and work in a hybrid environment with regular access to an Autodesk office preferably in Dublin or Munich
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field
Experience working within AI, SaaS, cloud technologies, APIs, developer ecosystems, or other technology-focused environments
Experience in a startup, scale-up, or fast-paced technology organization
Experience creating customer success stories, case studies, videos, podcasts, or multimedia campaigns
Experience partnering with creative agencies or event production teams
Familiarity with community platforms, social media analytics, YouTube Studio, or content performance tools
Experience supporting executive events, customer programs, webinars, or industry conferences
Exposure to Business Development, Customer Success, Partnerships, or Product Marketing
Knowledge of the AEC, Manufacturing, or Design & Make industries is helpful but not required
Additional language skills are a plus

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Ireland based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $57,000 and $83,600. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.Belonging
