Position Responsibilities:
Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure interconnects in large scale, high-performance networks. Build performance monitoring, failure analysis, deployment, mitigation, and remediation systems to continuously improve processes at every level of the product lifecycle. Perform product development process definition, product hardware and firmware validation, performance monitoring and validation software/system development, technical documentation writing and review, vendor and manufacturer management, new product and system integration, influencing internal and external parties.
40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range: $157,596/year to $212,800/year.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field and four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have one year of experience in the following skills: (1) hands-on experience on optical communication systems or components; (2) hands-on experience with optical transceivers and IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) standards; (3) developing test scripts for optics validation and characterization; (4) working with optical and networking merchant silicon suppliers, manufacturing processes, and qualifications; and (5) professional development experience with Python or a similar scripting language for automation scripting. Domestic and/or international travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.#0000
