Overview

The AMER Client & Field Marketing role will serve as the primary marketing partner to the US Sales teams, leading the planning, execution, and optimization of client events, sponsorships, conferences, and campaigns. This individual will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of both large-scale industry events and smaller, highly targeted client engagements, ensuring every interaction reflects Susquehanna's brand, expertise, and commitment to building strong client relationships. This individual will partner closely with the Global Marketing team and report directly into the Global Client & Field Marketing Lead.  

This role requires a highly organized and commercially minded marketing professional. The successful candidate will build strong relationships across Sales, Marketing, external vendors, venues, and event organizers to create impactful experiences that support business growth and strengthen client engagement.

This role will begin as a one-year fixed-term agreement. At the end of the term, both the employer and employee will have the opportunity to evaluate the engagement, including business need, performance, and the longer-term structure of the global marketing function.

What you'll do

Events & Sponsorships

  • Partner closely with the US Sales teams to develop and execute a field marketing strategy that supports client engagement, business development, and relationship-building objectives.
  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of industry conferences, sponsorships, trade events, and client hospitality programs across the US annually.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event organizers, managing sponsorship negotiations, contracts, payments, exhibit requirements, logistics, and event deliverables.
  • Manage all event logistics, including venue selection, registration processes, attendee communications, merchandise, shipping, onsite setup, and event breakdown.
  • Partner with Sales teams to organize smaller client events and hospitality experiences, identifying suitable venues and overseeing all planning and execution activities from concept through completion.
  • Develop event timelines, project plans, budgets, and reporting processes to ensure events are delivered efficiently and within budget.
  • Collaborate with the Client Thought Leadership & Sales Enablement team to determine content requirements for events, including presentations, thought leadership materials, client communications, speaker support, and sales enablement assets.
  • Work closely with the creative team to create compelling event branding, booth designs, signage, digital assets, presentations, and promotional materials that enhance Susquehanna's presence at industry events.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure all event activities align with brand standards, compliance requirements, and business objectives.
  • Track event performance, attendee engagement, and business outcomes, providing recommendations to improve future marketing investments and event experiences.
  • The role requires occasional travel across the US to attend and manage events.

Marketing Campaigns

  • Work closely with the wider Marketing team to bring large global campaigns to life across local markets
  • Help tailor campaign content and messaging for different clients and audiences
  • Coordinate campaign activity across events, digital channels, social media and other client touchpoints
  • Manage campaign timelines, stakeholder input and deliverables to keep activity on track and ensure timely execution
What we're looking for
  • 8 - 10+ years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, client marketing, sponsorship management, or related marketing disciplines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting Sales organizations within financial services, capital markets, fintech, asset management or other professional services.
  • Proven track record managing industry conferences, sponsorships, executive events, client hospitality programs, and field marketing initiatives.
  • Strong experience negotiating with venues, event organizers, vendors, and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience working directly with Sales teams and senior stakeholders to align marketing activities with commercial objectives.
  • Strong budget management, contract management, and vendor management experience.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience collaborating with creative and design teams to deliver high-quality branded experiences and marketing materials.

The annual base pay range for this role is $130k - $160k+ discretionary bonus + benefits. Susquehanna considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, key skills, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
