Description and Requirements

The Chief of Staff serves as a strategic partner to senior leadership, helping drive priorities, improve cross-functional coordination, ensure effective execution of key initiatives and lead strategic projects. This role acts as an extension of the executive office, supporting decision-making, operational efficiency, communication, and organizational alignment. This position reports to the General Manager for LA Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG).

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the executive leader to define strategic priorities and track progress against goals.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure timely execution and issue resolution.
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, reports, and executive communications.
  • Support leadership meetings by setting agendas, capturing decisions, and following up on action items.
  • Monitor business performance through dashboards, metrics, and regular reviews.
  • Identify operational gaps, risks, and opportunities, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Facilitate communication across departments to improve alignment and transparency.
  • Manage special projects, executive priorities, and confidential assignments.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and scenario planning to support strategic decisions.
  • Help drive change management, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Significant experience in strategy, operations, consulting, project management, or executive support.
  • Strong business judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in presentation tools, spreadsheets, and project management methods.
  • Fluent English. 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working closely with C-level executives or senior leadership teams.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Executive presence and ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Experience in strategic planning, business operations, or transformation programs.
  • Spanish language skills.
