Description and Requirements

Candidates may be based anywhere, with preference for those located near a major airport to facilitate travel requirements.

The Partner AI Technical Business Development Manager serves as the primary technical liaison and strategic catalyst between the organization and key channel partners. Focused on driving adoption of NVIDIA AI platforms and AI Factory architectures, this role bridges complex high-performance infrastructure with channel growth.

You will educate partner teams, serve as the technical authority for AI factory sizing and solution design, and articulate the financial and strategic value of Lenovo partnership programs to executives, sales teams, and architects.

Scope of Work

  • Technical Engagement: Direct technical consultation for channel partners designing and deploying NVIDIA-powered AI Factory architectures.
  • Enablement & Training: Ownership of delivering technical and sales training curricula covering Lenovo's AI portfolio and NVIDIA accelerated computing stack.
  • Go-To-Market (GTM) Co-Selling: Alignment with partner sales teams to identify, qualify, and win large-scale AI infrastructure deals.
  • Strategic Partner Advocacy: Drive alignment across Lenovo partner programs, incentive structures, and co-selling motions to maximize partner profitability and engagement.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Technical Architecture & Solution Design

  • Serve as the primary technical backstop for sizing, architecting, and configuring AI Factories, including compute (NVIDIA HGX platforms), networking (InfiniBand/Spectrum-X Ethernet), storage, and power/cooling requirements.
  • Assist partner Solution Architects in validating custom AI workloads, AI Factory sizing and design, and reference architectures.
  • Translate customer AI requirements into scalable, Lenovo-integrated hardware and software stacks.

Partner Enablement & Evangelism

  • Evangelize the value of Lenovo AI platforms and NVIDIA software suites (such as NVIDIA AI Enterprise, NeMo, and Omniverse) across partner sales and engineering organizations.
  • Conduct technical bootcamps, workshops, and certifications for partner solution architects and presales engineers.
  • Create collateral, sizing templates, and technical playbooks tailored for channel seller consumption.

Business Development & Co-Selling

  • Engage partner executives, sales leaders, and account managers to demonstrate the business value of participating in Lenovo partner programs.
  • Educate channel partners on financial incentives, rebates, MDF (Market Development Funds), and deal registration programs to drive partner mindshare.
  • Participate in joint customer engagements alongside partner sales teams to accelerate deal velocity for large-scale AI opportunities.
  • Provide strategic feedback to internal product management and channel leadership regarding partner needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in technical presales, solution architecture, or partner development within HPC, AI infrastructure, or enterprise hardware/cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of NVIDIA accelerated computing architectures, AI data center design (power, thermal, networking), cluster topology, and enterprise AI workloads (LLM training, fine-tuning, inference).
  • Channel Sales & Partner Program Fluency: Strong understanding of channel sales dynamics, two-tier distribution models, partner incentives, and co-selling frameworks.
  • Executive Presence & Communication: Ability to pitch complex technical concepts to engineers while articulating business ROI, gross margins, and strategic value to C-level partner executives.
  • Solution Sizing & Tooling: Proficiency with cluster configuration tools, GPU-to-workload sizing frameworks, and infrastructure BOM (Bill of Materials) generation.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The anticipated annual compensation range for this position is 142,740–218,868 USD. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
