Campaign Manager, EU Public Policy Digital, International Public Policy
We are looking for a highly-motivated, strategic, and detail-oriented Campaign Manager to join Amazon’s EU Digital Public Policy team in support of our digital and entertainment businesses. The role is based in our Brussels office (Belgium). You will report to the team's Director.
The EU Digital Public Policy team works with a wide range of European Institutions, Governments and Regulators, as well as industry and non-governmental organizations.
As Campaign Manager, you will be responsible for engaging and partnering with the EU institutions to ensure our businesses can continue providing an innovative and secure customer-centric experience. You must be able to manage and drive complex projects, and provide clear and confident guidance, including in situations of high ambiguity. You will need to demonstrate an astute understanding of the public policy and regulatory environment for economic policy and regulation. You will coordinate our engagement with relevant industry associations and wider coalitions, as well as think tanks and policy-making organization; and manage consultancy support.
Key job responsibilities
The role is integral in designing, structuring and rolling out policy campaigns in the fields of digital regulation, artificial intelligence, telecom, space, media, entertainment, advertising and consumer electronics. It has a heavy focus on policy writing, research and analysis, and involves internal coordination as well as external engagement.
You will help prepare for high-level stakeholder engagements and events, building Amazon's profile and reputation with policymakers and creating greater awareness and understanding internally of the purpose and work of Public Policy. You will also project manage, and scale the systems and tools that enable the team to deliver effectively on our advocacy and external partnerships. As part of this, you will facilitate the internal planning processes and quarterly reviews, track delivery of goals and improve the coordination and information sharing within the team and across the broader International Public Policy function. You will also manage specific policy projects (e.g., consultation responses or external research) and support the production of relevant policy content for internal briefings, team meetings, events and offsites.
To fulfill this job, we are looking for an experienced public policy professional who is passionate about the intersection between technology and policy, can navigate highly ambiguous environments with strong business judgement, works thoughtfully across global teams and time zones, and demonstrate an enthusiasm and curiosity to learn and grow. The individual should be a self-starter, highly organized and able to communicate, adapt, and/or respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude and sense of humor, even under pressure, under a fast-paced, goal-focused work environment.
You should be willing to travel internationally, based on business need.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in law, public policy, economics, business, communications, or similar.
- 3+ years of relevant EU public policy, advocacy, and government relations experience in equivalent position within industry (preferably in the digital technologies or entertainment sectors), EU Institutions or other governmental bodies, Regulator and/or in a trade association
- A strong knowledge of EU policy-making processes and government relations.
- Full written and spoken fluency (English), including top-level drafting skills
- Highly effective interpersonal communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate with, and persuade others
- Strong judgment/decision-making skills and political acumen.

- Proven ability to build effective partnerships with business owners and technical partners.
