Calibration Technician, Cell (m/w/d) (m/w/d) - Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg

Description

Tesla is seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to join the Cell Manufacturing Quality Organization at Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg. In this role, you will ensure that advanced production equipment runs safely, accurately, and efficiently by performing calibrations, preventive maintenance, and documentation to the highest standards. You will play a critical part in maintaining measurement reliability and supporting continuous production quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration on industrial weighing equipment on the line, following established procedures and safety standards
• Review calibration test results and certificates for accuracy
• Communicate the status of calibrated equipment to equipment owners
• Manage tools requiring external repair/calibration by scheduling on-site and off-site calibrations, maintaining certification documentation, and resolving issues during external calibrations
• Support Tesla’s mission, vision, values, and goals through daily activities

Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training (e.g. electrician, mechanic, or mechatronics technician), completed in Germany or officially recognized
• Experience in maintenance or quality roles in an automated manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of production system components such as electronics and pneumatics
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 standards, or willingness to learn
• Strong practical hands-on skills
• Ability to learn proprietary HMI software
• Good German and/or English language skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to wear protective equipment such as PAPR when required
• Physical ability to frequently lift reference weights of up to 20 kg
• Willingness to work in a fully continuous shift model
