We are looking for a Buyer. This position will be based in Broken Arrow, OK.

You’ll make a difference by:

• Executing purchase orders in SAP or other purchasing systems to maintain material availability for production.
• Following up with suppliers on confirmations, delivery commitments, backorders, and past-due orders, and expediting pull-ins, push-outs, cancellations, and revised delivery dates to protect manufacturing schedules.
• Processing Material Requirements Planning (MRP) recommendations and purchasing requirements in alignment with established procedures and guidance from the Senior Buyer.
• Communicating material shortages, supplier updates, and recovery actions to production, planning, receiving, purchasing, and supplier teams.
• Resolving purchase order, receiving, and invoice discrepancies to improve transaction accuracy and supplier payment flow.
• Analyzing material and supplier information, identifying potential risks, and taking proactive action to support production continuity and customer delivery.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of direct purchasing, buying, or materials coordination experience, including placing and managing purchase orders.
• Experience following up with suppliers, tracking delivery commitments, expediting orders, or resolving purchase order issues.
• Experience using a purchasing, inventory, enterprise resource planning, or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, for purchasing analysis, reporting, and data management.
• Ability to analyze material information, identify supply risks, and communicate effective recovery actions.
• Demonstrated initiative, urgency, adaptability, and problem-solving ability in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Ability and willingness to work on-site at the Siemens Smart Infrastructure manufacturing facility in Broken Arrow, OK.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

The pay range for this position is $68K - $92K annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
