Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. This position is responsible for assisting the country manager to coordinate country operations. Handles business analyst staff in analyzing potential impact of current and proposed business practices and plans. Responsible for the timely and proficient analysis of business goals, business systems, objectives and needs and of the general business environment. Presents results of business analyses to senior management and makes recommendations and changes to improve and support business systems and activities. Is responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews. Works to deliver digital services. Exercises tight cost control to enhance price realization, margin, profit and labor utilization.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements digitalization and standard service operations strategies across the country.
  • Drives execution of the country business plans including revenue forecast, annual budget, profit plan, cost control, asset management plan and other financial results based on zone and subject area.
  • Develops, implements, assesses and adjusts action plans in order to achieve BT and discipline profit plan. Implements and ensures adherence to all Zone Operations plans.
  • Achieves country’s Balanced Operations targets (may include slip, absorption, utilization, rates increases, revenue / headcount)
  • Builds and maintains a country Operations organization committed to customer and employee happiness and profitable growth. Will work through appropriate Human Resource and company channels to provide the tools, training, and work environment that are vital for Operations employees to be successful.
  • Engages and motivates the Operations team’s focus on goals and objectives achievement through the digitized service strategy.
  • Actively handles work-in-progress by meeting regularly with operations leaders. Provides guidance and direction to ensure customer satisfaction. Advises the implementation of operations services including Workflow Standards, Top+, best practices and digitalization strategy. Directs activities associated with expanded portfolio offerings across the zone.
  • Ensures the effectiveness of policies and standards and that country activities align with all BT standards initiatives.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves most sophisticated problems within multi-departments and/or cross-functional areas.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal and local rules and regulations applicable to the geographic area as well as all company policies and procedures.
  • Acts as a company representative and liaison to customers and local authorities to capitalize on local market opportunities, foster successful relationships and positive BT public image. Teams with other operating companies to provide total customer solutions in Siemens products and services.

Preferred Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Management, or other related field required.
  • 7+ years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above.
  • Proven ability to lead, empower and direct personnel toward achievement of a common goal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to get along with customers, vendors and employees.
  • Strong eye for business with the ability to understand and lead the dynamics of a sophisticated organization.
  • Travel may be required.
