IDC is the Infra team chartered to ensure data centers are designed and built to meet Meta's needs, and operated efficiently, reliably, and sustainably — working closely with Core Systems, Infra Foundation, NetInfra, and Finance We're seeking an Executive Business Operations Lead to serve as the strategic and operational backbone for IDC’s most senior leadership. This role operates at the intersection of organizational strategy, executive decision-making, and cross-company coordination — shaping how a multi-thousand-person organization plans, prioritizes, communicates, and delivers at scale. This role requires an experienced business operations executive who has operated as a trusted advisor to VP+ leaders in complex organizations. They bring sound business judgment informed by experience, enterprise-wide perspective, and the ability to architect scalable operating models that create clarity and alignment across multiple teams and workstreams. They have a track record of driving transformational initiatives, building high-performing operational functions, and operating with the discretion, credibility, and influence required to partner with VP and C-suite leadership.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve the end-to-end operating model for IDC’s executive leadership team — defining the cadence, structure, and decision-making frameworks that drive strategic alignment across multiple VP-led organizations Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to IDC’s VP+ leadership on organizational strategy, resource allocation, cross-functional dependencies, and enterprise-wide priorities Architect and lead the rhythm of the business for a multi-thousand person organization, ensuring leadership has line-of-sight into critical workstreams, risks, and investment decisions Drive transformational initiatives spanning organizational design, operating model changes, and cross-company coordination — scoping ambiguity, building alignment across senior stakeholders, and delivering measurable outcomes Lead executive communications strategy — shaping the narrative for IDC’s leadership across internal forums, company-wide presentations, board-level materials, and leadership offsites Build and codify scalable decision-making frameworks, executive review structures, and information architectures that enable leadership to operate with speed and clarity Operate as the enterprise-wide connective tissue across IDC's sub-organizations and key cross-functional partners (Finance, HR, Recruiting, Facilities, Legal) — identifying systemic gaps, driving resolution, and ensuring coherence across initiatives Mentor and develop business operations partners across the Infrastructure organization, elevating the craft and building a community of practice Represent IDC leadership in cross-company forums, executive reviews, and strategic working groups — synthesizing complex technical and organizational context for senior audiences Move to MINIMUM_QUALIFICATION

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, management consulting, program management, or Chief of Staff roles in complex, technical organizations 5+ years of experience operating as a direct strategic partner to VP or C-suite executives in large organizations 5+ years of experience embedded in or closely partnering with engineering/infrastructure organizations, with demonstrated ability to translate technical complexity into strategic and operational clarity Track record of designing and implementing scalable operating models, governance structures, and decision-making frameworks at the enterprise level Proven ability to drive large-scale organizational transformations — including reorgs, operating model redesigns, and cross-company strategic initiatives — from conception through execution Experience crafting compelling narratives for VP/SVP/C-suite audiences across written, verbal, and presentation formats Demonstrated ability to build trust, credibility, and influence with senior executives while maintaining confidentiality on highly sensitive organizational and personnel matters Experience mentoring or managing business operations professionals and elevating operational excellence across an organization Experience applying quantitative, analytical, and systems-thinking approaches to drive data-informed decision-making Experience building a business operations function from the ground up or significantly scaling an existing one MBA or advanced degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field Track record of operating effectively across multiple geographies and cultural contexts

Compensation: $211,000/year to $272,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
