Description

As Business Integration Engineer you will lead the discovery, analysis, and transformation of business challenges across manufacturing operations, support roles, construction and multiple projects. You will combine classic business analysis skills with a strong focus on process optimization — identifying repetitive tasks, inefficiencies, and opportunities to automate or eliminate work through intelligent solutions.

You will act as a trusted sparring partner between business stakeholders, IT/application teams, and engineering groups. By engaging users and deeply understanding workflows, you will translate real business needs into clear, measurable outcomes. You will also execute the processes that get new work through security, privacy, and related reviews — preparing documentation, flagging obvious issues, and helping teams navigate these steps.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for inbound AI initiatives and system users, providing first contact, troubleshooting, training, and escalation support
  • Execute security, privacy, and works council review processes: get documentation in place, flag obvious issues early, and help users add justification so specialist teams can review efficiently.
  • Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify optimization and efficiency opportunities
  • Transform selected business processes into AI Skills, support prompt engineering across projects, and validate agent performance and interaction patterns
  • Maintain an overview of challenges, inefficiencies, and recurring tasks across manufacturing shops, operational roles, Factory Assist, and employee-facing systems, and feed that signal back so the team can prioritize gaps in our tools
  • Serve as a sparring partner and bridge between Business, IT, and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain and continuously improve the Knowledge Hub to ensure users have accurate and up-to-date resources
  • Independently gather and document business needs; create personas and process maps where they help, with a focus on pain points and automation potential

Requirements

  • Practical experience with AI, prompt engineering, and/or AI agent development (highly valued)
  • 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, solution analysis, process optimization, or a similar role
  • Comfortable working with technology: able to debug issues at user level, follow technical conversations, and read enough code to understand a solution. You do not need to be a software engineer
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills; experience using Jira or similar tools
  • Experience handling compliance processes (security, privacy, or similar reviews): preparing documentation, navigating reviews, and learning from pushback
  • Proven experience conducting interviews, workshops, and process discovery with users
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
