Description and Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

1. Monitor industry trends and market developments, assess emerging technologies, innovative business models, and new market opportunities to support licensing strategies and portfolio expansion.

2. Identify new product categories and potential licensing partners to drive business growth, and develop compelling licensing proposals and business cases.

3. Lead commercial negotiations, develop licensing term sheets, and successfully execute contracts and partnership agreements.

4. Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with prospective licensing partners to secure and expand new business opportunities.

5. Manage existing licensing partnerships and implement initiatives that support sustainable business growth.

6. Optimize the performance of licensed businesses to maximize royalty revenue through regular business reviews and ongoing performance monitoring.

7. Act as the primary commercial liaison between licensees and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout licensing projects.

8. Collaborate closely with Brand, Product, Marketing, Legal, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure the successful execution and delivery of licensing initiatives.

 Job Requirements:

1. Strong understanding of licensing business models, commercial partnership development, and market expansion strategies.

2. Proven ability to identify market opportunities, evaluate business potential, and develop strategic recommendations to support licensing growth.

3. Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive complex commercial discussions and close agreements.

4. Strong relationship-building capabilities, with experience engaging and influencing both external partners and cross-functional internal teams.

5. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple licensing projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and execution excellence.

6. Strong analytical and business acumen, with the ability to evaluate performance metrics and identify opportunities to optimize revenue growth.

7. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop and deliver business cases and licensing proposals to diverse audiences.

8. Collaborative mindset and experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Brand, Product, Marketing, Legal, Quality, and Finance.
