About the Role

At Uber Health, we are transforming access to care by helping organizations remove transportation barriers for the people and communities they serve.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) supporting our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) segment, you will play a key role in expanding Uber Health’s presence across organizations that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You will focus on targeted outbound prospecting across a defined set of IDD and community-based organizations, identifying transportation needs and connecting providers with Uber Health solutions that can help improve access to care, day programs, employment services, community activities, and other essential services.

You’ll work closely with Account Executives and cross-functional partners to identify high-potential organizations, build qualified pipeline, and create a seamless experience from initial engagement through handoff and onboarding.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-impact, mission-driven sales environment and is comfortable navigating a highly fragmented and relationship-driven healthcare and human services market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute targeted outbound campaigns across a defined portfolio of IDD providers and community-based organizations through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other prospecting channels
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders across operations, transportation, program leadership, finance, and executive teams
  • Research organizations to understand their service models, populations served, locations, transportation needs, and potential Uber Health use cases
  • Leverage industry insights, account signals, and targeted campaigns to create meaningful conversations with prospective customers
  • Develop multi-threaded relationships across larger or decentralized IDD organizations

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ year of sales, business development, customer-facing, or related experience
  • Familiarity with outbound prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo, Groove/Salesloft, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a defined portfolio of accounts
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving, and collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within healthcare, human services, disability services, or the IDD ecosystem
  • Familiarity with IDD providers, community-based organizations, residential programs, day habilitation programs, supported employment, or related services
  • Understanding of transportation challenges affecting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Experience prospecting into multi-location or decentralized organizations
  • Familiarity with Medicaid-funded services, state or local agencies, or other funding structures within the IDD ecosystem
  • Experience navigating complex organizations with multiple operational and executive stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to generate qualified pipeline within a defined account list or vertical
