Amazon FBA is looking for a data-savvy professional to create, report on, and monitor business and operations metrics. Amazon has culture of data-driven decision-making, and demands business intelligence that is timely, accurate, and actionable. This role will help scope, influence, and evaluate process improvements, and will contribute to Amazon’s success by enabling data-driven decision making that will impact the customer experience.

Key job responsibilities
We are seeking an exceptional Business Analyst to drive analysis and insights to help our teams make meaningful business decisions. The successful candidate will possess a strong passion for analytics, setting high standards, accuracy and staying ahead of a dynamic and fast growing business. You should have excellent business and communication skills to be able to work with business owners to develop and define key business questions, and to build data sets that answer those questions. Above all you should be passionate about working with huge data sets and someone who loves to bring datasets together to answer business questions and drive change.

A day in the life
* Data Subject Matter Expertise (SMEship): Serves as the primary source for data interpretation, lineage, and business logic across FBA domains — enabling accurate decision-making and reducing dependency on ad hoc tribal knowledge.
* Self-Serve Enablement: Builds and maintains scalable reporting solutions (e.g., dashboards, automated reports, curated datasets) that empower stakeholders to independently access insights, reducing turnaround time and freeing BI capacity for higher-value analytical work.
* Escalation Deep Dives: Conducts root-cause analyses on data anomalies, metric deviations, and operational escalations — providing leadership with validated findings and recommended actions within business-critical timelines.
* XBR Reporting: Owns the preparation and delivery of cross-business review (XBR) reporting packages, ensuring consistent, accurate, and narrative-driven performance storytelling for weekly, monthly, and quarterly leadership reviews.
* Ad Hoc Business Analytics: Provides on-demand analytical support for leadership reviews, product reviews, and strategic planning exercises — translating complex data into executive-ready insights that inform multi-million dollar operational decisions.
* GenAI & Agentic Development — Data Stewardship: Serves as stewards of high-quality, governed data inputs into Generative AI agentic development initiatives, ensuring that AI-powered automation and decision-support tools are built on trusted, well-documented data foundations.

About the team
The teams deliver end-to-end analytical support — from foundational data subject matter expertise and self-serve enablement to executive-facing business reviews — ensuring leadership has timely, accurate, and actionable insights to drive operational and strategic decisions across critical FBA programs.
