Tesla is looking for an Bodyshop Technician to work on one the most progressive, innovative vehicle
brands in the world.
This role will support the Bodyshop team in restoring vehicles to manufacturer standards following
collision damage by developing technical skills and knowledge in automotive body repair through hands on experience and guided training.
Responsibilities
- Learn and understand Tesla systems and processes
- Has a strong understanding of industry EHS requirements
- Has an understanding Body Repair processes
- Ability to determine and resolve noise, vibration and harshness concerns
- Undertake cosmetic steel repairs on Tesla vehicles in line documented repair procedures
- Be able to remove and replace bolt on panels and align correctly to vehicle standard specifications
- Be able to perform repair procedures that require cosmetic steel welding
- Conduct repairs to plastic components in line with Tesla standards
- Remove and install components within Tesla vehicles
- Perform replacement of Tesla glazing units in line with Tesla standards
- Possess the ability to develop and have the willingness to grow within the role and industry
- Perform relevant high and low voltage work within daily tasks
- Work closely with peers to maintain standards and consistency with day-to-day operations of the Bodyshop
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Location Management
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Bodyshop Technician ideally 2 yrs+
- Proficiency in welding, panel replacement, and repair work
- Ability to learn in a fast-paced progressive environment
- Desire to progress with in the Body repair industry
- A clear understanding of health & safety and good housekeeping in the automotive environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully. Fluent in [local language] and English.
- Required to hold a valid Driver’s license
- Eligible: to work in Norway
