BMS Graphics Designer | Desigo CC.
Are you passionate about Building Automation and creating intuitive, high-quality graphical interfaces?
We are looking for a BMS Graphics Designer to join our Smart Buildings team and develop customized graphic solutions that help customers monitor and control their buildings effectively and efficiently.
In this role, you will work on a variety of projects including commercial buildings, campuses, data centers and other complex facilities, transforming engineering information into clear and functional building management interfaces.
What will you do?
- Develop and customize BMS graphics using Desigo CC.
- Create graphical backgrounds based on engineering drawings and project documentation.
- Add dynamics, point blocks and advanced functionality to graphical user interfaces.
- Work with HVAC systems, mechanical and electrical schematics to accurately represent building systems.
- Use tools such as AutoCAD and Revit to support the development of graphics and layouts.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and project teams to understand project requirements and deliver the right solution.
- Review and proof designs to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Estimate the effort required for graphics projects and support on-time delivery.
- Present graphics concepts and solutions to internal teams and customers.
- Support pre-bid estimates and share technical knowledge with other members of the team.
What are we looking for?
- Hands-on experience working with Desigo CC, ideally developing and configuring building graphics.
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Automation or HVAC controls.
- Professional experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC, mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Understanding of building automation systems and how different equipment and control points are represented within a graphical interface.
- Good PC and software skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Technical education or professional experience in electromechanical, engineering, drafting, design, building automation or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
