About this opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Access Team Leader to manage and lead a team responsible for the operation, and maintenance of different vendor nodes within the Radio Access & Transmission Network. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in RAN & Transmission technologies and a proven track record of managing and leading a team in a telecom or mobile network environment

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage a team of RAN/Tx engineers responsible for the operation, and maintenance of different vendor nodes (Ericsson/Huawei/Nokia) within the Radio Access & Transmission Network.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the smooth operation and performance of RAN & Transmission equipment from various vendors, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network planning, IPBB, RF, and core network teams, to ensure seamless integration and operation of RAN equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance and efficiency of the RAN & Microwave networks, utilizing industry best practices and standards.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Customer, vendor partners, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the Access team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and skill development. 

The skills you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, or related field. 
  • Proven experience in RAN & Transmission operations, and maintenance, with a strong understanding of different vendor equipment such as Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, or ZTE.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of technical professionals.
  • In-depth knowledge of wireless network technologies, including 2G, LTE, 5G, and associated protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
