Summary

SWE Employee Experience and Event Operations brings people together, tells impactful stories, and delivers best-in-class experiences across Software Engineering (SWE). Our team provides end-to-end visual design services, event management, and technical video production expertise to foster connections across the organization. We are seeing a collaborative, results-oriented individual to drive audio/visual and technical production for high-visibility internal events across SWE and partner groups.

In this role, you will help shape how we reach and connect with employees, combining a passion for extraordinary event execution with a strong commitment to technical excellence. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical production expertise with strong initiative and a drive for operational efficiency, with a focus on leveraging AI in workflow processes. We are seeking someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and excels at building cross-functional partnerships to execute seamless, high-impact events and programs.

Description

- Design, deploy, operate, and maintain end-to-end AV and broadcast solutions supporting virtual, hybrid, and in-person employee events across Software Engineering (SWE)

  • Drive technical planning, run-of-show execution, and live event management in close partnership with internal teams, executive leadership, and external vendor partners
  • Oversee event logistics from concept to completion, including venue/room requirements, equipment logistics/routing, schedules, and real-time issue resolution
  • Leverage modern tools and AI-driven workflows to continuously improve operational efficiency and elevate the overall employee experience
  • Develop and contribute to standard operating procedures, documentation, and training materials to scale production capabilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Event Production Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, managing, and executing technical AV production for live, virtual, and hybrid events in a corporate or broadcast environment
  • AV & Media Networking: Solid understanding of Audio-over-IP (AoIP) networks (e.g., Dante and AES67 interoperability) and core media networking fundamentals (VLAN segmentation, IGMP/multicast, QoS, PTP timing, bandwidth planning)
  • Broadcast & Signal Flow: Comprehensive knowledge of broadcast video standards, SDI-to-IP workflows, video routing, signal conversion, resolution/frame rate considerations, and color space/HDR standards
  • Production Management: Proven track record leading live runs-of-show, managing technical crews, and maintaining composure while troubleshooting under tight, real-time deadlines
  • Project Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with experience planning, managing and delivering projects with varied and compressed deadlines; proven ability to multi-task across concurrent work-streams
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to partner effectively, establish rapport, and credibility to foster trust with cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Communication & Adaptability: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to filter technical complexity for non-technical audiences and navigate ambiguous, fast-paced environments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in event production in a corporate environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in workflow automation, scripting, or applying AI tools to streamline production workflows
  • Experience with SMPTE ST 2110 standards, PTP timing (ST 2059), multicast stream routing, and NMOS (IS-04/IS-05) discovery and connection management
  • Advanced Q-SYS experience — DSP design and deployment, including custom scripting (Lua, Python, or REST APIs) for device integration
  • Hands-on experience with cinema-grade camera systems (e.g., Canon Cinema EOS, RED), lenses, studio lighting, and working video editing skills — independently assemble, cut, and deliver finished video
  • Proficiency producing technical system documentation in AutoCAD, Vectorworks, or similar CAD software, including signal flow diagrams, rack elevations, and room drawings
  • Advanced proficiency with Apple productivity tools (Keynote, Numbers, Pages)
