Responsibilities
Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines, making the architectural tradeoffs required to rapidly deliver software solutions Create clean readable code, debug complex problems, prioritize effectively based on impact and urgency and get things done with a high level of efficiency Learn constantly, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of problem solving Develop audio software for a variety of consumer products and devices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience 5+ years software development experience in industry settings or PhD with 2+ years of experience 3+ years relevant audio software engineering experience in industry settings C or C++ experience, including use of C++11/14/17 features Experience communicating technical decisions to cross-functional partners and collaborating across disciplines to deliver solutions Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) Experience with audio signal processing and auditory perception, both classical and machine learned techniques Experience with audio stack including codecs, audio capture/render, and network compensation/jitter buffer Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies Proven track record of innovation as demonstrated by products shipped, publications and/or patents Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Experience with GenAI
