Associate Yard Dispatcher (m/w/d) - Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg

The Associate Yard Dispatcher is an integral part of Tesla Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg's Outbound Logistics team — a hands-on, dynamic, and high-performing group responsible for all vehicle operations from the factory gate to final truck departure. With a clear and ambitious mission to operate the best-organized and most accurate and automated yard in the world, the Associate Yard Dispatcher supports the planning, coordination, and execution of finished vehicle shipments in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment.

In this role, you will support the operational and tactical management of yard dispatching activities, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure vehicles move seamlessly from the production line to their end destination — on time, every time.

Responsibilities

• Support the monitoring and measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with departmental goals, and contribute to the development of meaningful reporting
• Assist in the creation and continuous improvement of yard processes to increase operational efficiency and ensure long-term scalability
• Support performance tracking and analysis of carriers and truck operations to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Assist in maintaining regular alignment with key external stakeholders — including rail yards, ports, and vehicle compounds — to support effective planning and transportation of finished vehicles
• Contribute to general yard management activities, including space management, effective distribution of trucks across loading areas, reduction of yard congestion, and swift coordination with safety officials in the event of emergency or hazardous situations
• Support the active monitoring of yard health and assist in taking preventive actions to avoid yard overload and operational disruption
• Help ensure a steady, predictable, and efficient flow of vehicles from the factory gate to the loading lane and onto trucks, enabling timely departures in accordance with the distribution plan
• Assist in the creation and management of transport documentation, including deviation management and corrective actions
• Collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams within and outside the factory, including fleet, claims, end-of-line, quality, the fire department, service centers, and sales teams
• Support the execution of vehicle routing corrections to account for plan variability arising from production changes or truck arrival deviations
• Develop and maintain an understanding of key distribution priorities, proactively identifying and escalating potential deviations to plan
• Provide clear, timely, and professional communication and coordination to all driving crews to ensure smooth and efficient execution of all vehicle movements

Requirements

• Good communication skills in both German and English
• Proficiency in Microsoft and AI applications
• A background in logistics, preferably within a carrier, automotive, or manufacturing environment, is preferred
• The ability to thrive in an international, dynamic team operating in a high-paced, high-throughput environment
• A valid driver's license
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including occasional scheduled weekend and evening work
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and composure under pressure

• Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with driving crews, carriers, internal teams, and external stakeholders at all levels
